TDP: 330 Three Doctor Who Books for the Summer
Tin Dog PodcastDalek Generation The Sunlight Worlds Offer You A Life of Comfort and Plenty. Apply now at the Dalek Foundation." Sunlight 349 is one of countless Dalek Foundation worlds, planets created to house billions suffering from economic hardship. The Doctor arrives at Sunlight 349, suspicious of any world where the Daleks are apparently a force for good – and determined to find out the truth. The Doctor knows they have a far more sinister plan – but how can he convince those who have lived under the benevolence of the Daleks for a generation? But convince them he must, and soon. For on another Foundation planet, archaeologists have unearthed the most dangerous technology in the universe... Plague of the Cybermen When the Doctor arrives in the 19th-century village of Klimtenburg, he discovers the residents suffering from some kind of plague - a 'wasting disease'. The victims face a horrible death - but what's worse, the dead seem to be leaving their graves. The Plague Warriors have returned. The Doctor is confident he knows what's really happening; he understands where the dead go, and he's sure the Plague Warriors are just a myth. But as some of the Doctor's oldest and most terrible enemies start to awaken he realises that maybe - just maybe - he's misjudged the situation. Shroud of Sorrow PUBLISHER'S SUMMARY edit 23 November 1963 It is the day after John F. Kennedy's assassination and the faces of the dead are everywhere. FBI Special Agent Warren Skeet finds his long-dead partner staring back at him from raindropson a window pane. The faces begin to talk and scream and push through into our world as the alien Shroud begins to feast on the grief of a world in mourning. Can the Doctor dig deep enough into his own sorrow to save mankind?

Episode 31: The Tomorrow Windows
The Doctor Who Book Club PodcastWhat happens when you add 12 to this month's episode number? You get 42. Thus, we present our discussion of Jonathan Morris' The Tomorrow Windows, one author's take of Douglas Adams possible take of an Eighth Doctor adventure.
Although Morris may be best known for his Big Finish work such as Bloodtide and Flip Flop, this is his third novel in the BBC range, preceded by Festival of Death and Anachrophobia. He is still actively turning out audio stories, and can be heard narrating the mini-documentary "Paris in Springtime" on the "City of Death" DVD release. Do we predict a call from Steven Moffat in the future?
From the back cover:
There's a new exhibition at Tate Modern - 'The Tomorrow Windows'.
The concept is simple: look through a Tomorrow Window and you'll see into the future. You'll get 'The Gist of Things to Come'. According to the press pack, the Tomorrow Windows exhibition will bring about an end to war and suffering.
Which is why someone decides to blow it up.
Investigating this act of wanton vandalism, the Doctor, Fitz, and Trix visit an Astral Flower, the show-world of Utopia and Gadrahadradon - the most haunted planet in the galaxy. They face the sinister Ceccecs, the gratuitously violent Vorshagg, the miniscule Micron and the enigmatic Poozle. And they encounter the doomsday monks of Shardybarn, the warmongers of Valuensis, the politicians on Minuea and the killer cars of Estebol.
They also spend about half an hour in Lewisham.
Pour yourself a cup of Earl Grey and sit back and relax as we discuss The Tomorrow Windows.

Episode 149 - One Forty Mime
Traveling the Vortex
This week’s show is a short one. And it’s a good thing, too. We get a little silly this week with only one thing to review. This time we tackle the Fourth Doctor’s first story of Season Thirteen, Terror of the Zygons. We give our impressions of this early classic. Also, a look at some of the news items of the week including push on change.org to make the Empire State Building light up blue on the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who.
Also, an announcement from this year’s Children in Need special, and some updates to L.I. Who‘s schedule which is coming up this weekend.
And, of course, your feedback.
Enjoy!
Links and notes mentioned in this week’s show:
Rachel’s Doctor Who Halloween decorations can be found here on her blog.
The Off Broadway Theater show Doctor U mentioned by Chrissy.
Incredible Optimus Prime Halloween costume:
Listener, Lisa, sent us a photo of where she typically listens to our podcast. It’s very tranquil. We thought we’d share.

From Lisa: Humboldt Bay (the south end) is on the right and the Pacific ocean is there on the left…
The road is several miles long and its absolute beautiful.
I usually save your podcast to enjoy out there.

Who's He? Podcast #208 You want more and you want it fast
Who's He?What have the Romans ever done for us? According to Boudica not much as Phil and Paul review the 4th Doctor Big Finish story The Wrath of The Iceni. In this story of ancient Britain and the rebellion against the empire (the Roman one that is), Phil and Paul have a little disagreement of their own as both have opposing views on this story and on the Doctor! So sit back and listen to two old gits who most likely had first hand experience of the Roman occupation.
And in the news, Steven Moffat gets an OBE, a series 9 teaser trailer, San Diego Comic Con tat that didn't make it into Omega's Tat Corner and John Nathan Turner gets his own bus.
And Phil now refers to you all as fans, not listeners as his ego runs rampant.

Doctor Who: Verity!Nothing sends fandom into a tizzy like thoughts of a new Doctor. Nothing sends fandom into an even bigger tizzy than that like thoughts of a *gasp* woman Doctor! Join Deb, Erika, Kat, and Liz as we discuss why this is such a hot-button issue and why we each feel the way we do about the prospect. (No, believe it or not, we do not all want a female Doctor.)

You want more and you want it fast

Radio Free Skaro #482 - Once Upon A Time In America
Radio Free SkaroIn a move sure to shake the very foundations of audio drama, Big Finish is introducing new series Doctor Who characters into the BF-i-verse, and River Song will be the tip of the proverbial spear in this assault of awesomeness. That was but one (but probably the coolest) bit of news this week, including San Diego Comic Con ruminations, Chicago TARDIS news and various other informational nuggets. But our interview this week is with Chicago TARDIS and Gallifrey Base impresario and overall fine fellow Steven Hill, who discusses his Red, White and Who book project chronicling the adventures of the good Doctor in the United States of America. U.S.A.! U.S.A.! And so forth.
