Album news…
The second Chameleon Circuit album, Still Got Legs, is currently available for pre-order here. You can also pre-order a Chameleon Circuit t-shirt here. Both will ship on July 12th. (Additionally, you can order a set of Still Got Legs themed Sopio cards here.)
You can take a look at the awesome Still Got Legs album art here on Alex’s blog. Charlie wrote about the album on his blog here. Alex has some interesting insights on the Still Got Legs songs he wrote in this video. And you can go here to watch some behind-the-scenes videos of the album production.
In anticipation of the album release, Chameleon Circuit held two Still Got Legs listening parties at Red Bull Studios, where attendees could listen to the album before its release. Afterwards, the band members took questions from the audience. (You can watch a recording of the question and answer session from the June 4th listening party here (part one) and here (part two).) They even had a dalek and a TARDIS there! Sam Caplet has some fantastic photos from the event here.

Summer vacation has begun for me and I’m going to be out of town for several weeks with little or no internet access. This will unfortunately delay the releases of the next Trocklafane Podcast episode as well as the news posts. However, the next few episodes are currently in production and I plan to finish and release them as soon as I return. (As well as taking care of some much-needed website updates and housekeeping.) Hopefully you guys won’t miss me too much!

Episode Duration: 0 minutes and 0 secondsMore frequent podcast episodes -A I plan on doing shorter review episodes during A the broadcast of series six, givingA my thoughts on each episode and playing relevant trock songs. In the next day or two, there should be another podcast episode released, mostly just catching up on old news and songs I’ve had lined up for a while. (As well as my super-belated Christmas Carol review.) Then my review of The Impossible Astronaut and Day of the Moon should be out next week after the second part has aired.A After that, you can probably expect weekly or biweekly episodes for the duration of this series.
More frequent news posts -A After the post at the end of this month, I’ll be posting news posts weekly.A There has been so much trock news lately that I feel like I need to be updating more often to keep up with it! Once this series is done, I’ll probably continue doing weekly (or, more likely, biweekly) posts.

Upcoming album news…
In a recent video, Alex Carpenter announced that his trock album should be released sometime in March/April. You can now find his trock band, Bad Wolf and the Sonic Screwdrivers, on Facebook and ‘like’ it to get all the updates.
Paul (songsfrompaul) is also working on an album which will include several trock songs, including a new recording of this song. (More info here.)
The Chameleon Circuit folks have been hard at work this month on their new album, Still Got Legs. They announced (on twitter) the addition of two new Chameleon Circuit band members, Michael Aranda and Eddplant (Quantum Locked). Sadly, Chris (Gallifreyan History 101 and K9′s Lament) will not be involved with this Chameleon Circuit album. You can check out the “leaked” track listing for Still Got Legs here. If you’re interested in watching some behind-the-scenes clips of the album being recorded, you can see this video (at 1:32) and several videos on this channel (including the recording of ”Doctor What” and “Regenerate Me”). There’s no official release date yet, but we can probably expect it to be out in a few months.
