There is very little amusement to be had by anyone but the Tenth Doctor and Rose as they find themselves in Scotland around 1879 and in the presence of Queen Victoria herself. As she's diverted to a little placed called 'Torchwood House'. Naturally they are not alone as the house is staffed by kung-fu monks and there is the alien werewolf in the basement that wants to be king.

I feel really bad about not knowing anything about partition, but watching this episode for the second time has actually prompted me to look into it more. It seems to have served the Doctor Who purpose of introducing an audience to an entirely new topic that they had no idea about. Does that make it the most successful Doctor Who episode of all time?
