TDP 950: #DoctorWho - Stranded Volume 1
Tin Dog PodcastThe TARDIS is gone. Stranded in one time and place, the Doctor, Liv and Helen seek refuge in Baker Street. But the house has changed: they now have neighbours – not all of them welcoming. And someone has a dire warning for the future. The Doctor and friends face their greatest challenge yet: living one day after another, in 2020 London. 1.1 Lost Property by Matt Fitton Trying to find a way to resume his travels, the Doctor calls in some old favours. As the residents get to know the new arrivals, something else finds its way into Baker Street, seeding suspicion. Helen meets a man with a very familiar face – and a terrible warning. 1.2 Wild Animals by John Dorney After weeks of London living, some of the TARDIS crew are finding it easier to adjust than others. Liv has found a new friend, but Helen is worried about the Doctor. And when a tragic crime takes place, the Time Lord must learn the limits of his powers. 1.3 Must-See TV by Lisa McMullin There are new arrivals in Baker Street: Sergeant Andy Davidson, and the helpful Mr Bird. The Doctor isn’t happy that someone else in the house is more useful than him. When the residents’ TVs start to malfunction, he suspects foul play. Someone is watching... 1.4 Divine Intervention by David K Barnes As the Doctor becomes desperate, Helen and Liv advise him to accept their situation. Liv makes a date - but gets more than she bargains for when the whole household comes along. And when a threat from the future finally arrives, the Doctor is placed in real danger. It’s time for the truth to emerge.

TDP 949: Star Cops Mars 2 from @Bigfinish
Tin Dog PodcastThis title was released in July 2020. It will be exclusively available to buy from the Big Finish website until August 31st 2020, and on general sale after this date. It's the near future, and mankind has expanded its presence in space. Maintaining law and order beyond Earth is the responsibility of the International Space Police Force, known colloquially as the Star Cops. Their leader is Commander Nathan Spring. There are no Star Cops on Mars, and Nathan Spring intends to put that right. He travels to the red planet hoping to rally the colonists’ support for setting up an ISPF office, but he faces resistance from those who feel Mars has no need of police. Soon, though, Nathan and his officers are involved in incidents of theft, violence and murder. They may get the chance to prove they’re needed, if they can get through their investigations alive. 2.4 Bodies of Evidence by Andrew Smith On the moon, shortly before Nathan, Kenzy and Devis leave for Mars, disaster strikes when the shuttle Ganymede crash lands on the lunar surface. The tragedy becomes something more sinister when Priya finds dismembered bodies hidden in the shuttle. But attempts to investigate are obstructed by higher authorities on Earth. Before Nathan departs for Mars, he instructs Priya and Paul to investigate the crash, in defiance of his superiors’ orders. If they don’t find the evidence they need, it could be the end of all their careers. 2.5 Human Kind by Helen Goldwyn A scared medic, on the run from her colony, seeks the help of the Star Cops. She offers information about a crime, but she demands legal immunity, and guarantees for her safety before she’ll talk. A visitor from Earth seems particularly determined to stop the Star Cops gaining a foothold on Mars and calls a meeting of colony leaders in an attempt to end their efforts once and for all. When one of his officers is kidnapped, Nathan begins to wonder who he can trust on this planet. 2.6 The Highest Ground by Andrew Smith The conspiracy is revealed, and its leader is desperate to silence the Star Cops. An armed squad closes in on Nathan, his officers and their Martian allies, leading to a siege in the shadow of Olympus Mons, the highest mountain in the solar system. And a violent confrontation on its slopes. It’s time for some to decide where their loyalties truly lie before it’s too late...

TDP 947: #DoctorWho - The Lovecraft Invasion from @BigFinish
Tin Dog PodcastThis title was released in July 2020. It will be exclusively available to buy from the Big Finish website until August 31st 2020, and on general sale after this date. The Doctor, Constance and Flip join forces with 51st-century bounty hunter, Calypso Jonze, to hunt down the Somnifax: a weaponised mind-parasite capable of turning its host's nightmares into physical reality. Chasing it through the time vortex to Providence, Rhode Island in 1937, they arrive too late to stop it from latching onto a local author of weird fiction... Howard Phillips Lovecraft. With time running out before Lovecraft's monstrous pantheon breaks free and destroys the world, the Doctor must enter Lovecraft's mind to fight the psychic invader from within. Can he and Flip overcome the eldritch horrors of the Cthulhu Mythos? And will Constance and Calypso survive babysitting the infamously xenophobic Old Gentleman of Providence himself?
