42 to Doomsday - Staff Xmas Party Goes Fourth
42 To DoomsdayEpisode 79 - The Four Horsemen of the Podcopalypse have returned! Join Rob, Mark, Dave and Richard as we celebrate 2018 with laughs, tears, bitter recriminations and then joyful reconciliation! Gasp as we summarise the first (and potentially last?) full Jodie Whitaker season of Doctor Who and then we go old school chatting about why doesn't fandom feel the love we think Terry Nation deserves. The Target Book Club reconvenes as we look over four of the least loved Doctor Who stories. And because nobody asked for it, we each bring our Fanwank of the year nominations for discussion! Finally, we shed a festive tear as we look back at all the non-Doctor Who stuff that captivated our attention. Wishing a very Merry Christmas to all of you at home...42 to Doomsday will RETURN!* *unless Rob goes back into rehab! Fingers crossed, either way!

Episode 231: The Roast of Steven Moffat
Trust Your DoctorLook out Steven, we’re coming for you.
You’ll never believe what happened to us while we were recording this episode. Dylan received a phone call from someone desperately trying to stop us recording. Turns out, our podcast recording last week was a fixed point in time, and the attempt to stop us recording caused the entirety of the space time continuum to fall apart. We put it back together, so you wouldn’t have noticed anything except now it seems the sky is a weird shade of blue. We’re sorry about that, it seems we weren’t quite able to get it back to it’s original yellow. It’s The Wedding of River Song, written by Steven Moffat and aired on October 1, 2011.
Show-notes:
5:40 Parts of the Millennium Bridge is made out of aluminum
6:40 It was this thing.
8:57 The Rats in the Walls is a story by H.P. Lovecraft. Also I did bad job describing it here, so just read it.

Staggering Stories Commentary #220: Doctor Who - Arachnids in the UK
Staggering Stories PodcastSummary:
Adam J Purcell, Andy Simpkins and Keith Dunn sit down, scuttling, in front of the 2018 Doctor Who episode ‘Arachnids in the UK’, and spout our usual nonsense!
Yaz finally gets some development, Robertson trumps nobody and the Doctor must be getting tired of giant spiders. But enough of their problems, please sit down with us to enjoy Arachnids in the UK...

Metebelis 2 #100 - Send That Blue Peter Rubbish to Kingdom Come
Doctor Who: The Metebelis 2Well it's the 100th episode for the Metebelis Two and Ben and David are not in a celebratory mood. The lads are pretty disappointed by the series 11 finale and wonder what happens next? Opening music is "Barnacle Bill" composed by Ashworth Hope, which was the original theme to Blue Peter. Closing music is "Thirteen" by Segun Akinola.

Radio Rassilon: The Tsuranga Conundrum
Radio RassilonRadio Rassilon 84: The Blahblah Conundrum
Rassifan!
Having eradicated both racism and homophobia in the last two episodes, the Rassiboys don't have anything left to solve for you, so they concentrate on Christmas.
Not really, of course - there's loads left to solve*!
Discussing The Blahblah Conundrum brings up all the usual post-Weinstein, post-feminism, post-Savile, post-racism, post-last post for Christmas awkwardness that you've come to expect. AND MORE!
Not only that, but Leeson insists on telling what may well be the most disturbing Christmas market story in the history of Christmas. And markets.
From poop to pudding (Christmas), via winkles and well wishes...
Lady/gentleman/the real Santa,Get yer tiny pig in it's blanket...it's The Radio Rassilon Podcast
*they forgot about Christmas.

Doctor Who - Ep214: 2018 Year in Review
The Doctor Who Big Blue Box PodcastWelcome to Episode 214...
No news, merch or review this week Who fans. Instead, we're going to round out 2018 with a year in review where Adam and I give you our best and not so good moments followed by some Q&A. As 2018 draws to a close both Adam and I would like to thank you all for another awesome year. Our little podcast which started as a one-man-show back in 2014 has grown so much and we really appreciate all the comments, reviews, audio clips and interaction with all our listeners. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas (hope you get that piece of Who merch you've been after!) and a Happy New Year! A reminder that we're now off for a couple of weeks and we will return on 11th Jan with our review of the New Year's Day Special - Resolution. Until then have a brilliant break and until next time - Allons-y!

TDP 812: - #Survivors S8 From @BigFinish
Tin Dog Podcast@TinDogPodcast reviews #Survivors S8 From @BigFinish This title was released in December 2018. It will be exclusively available to buy from the BF website until January 31st 2019, and on general sale after this date. Four new battles for survival, from the world of Terry Nation's cult-classic series. The world has ended. The ‘Death’ pandemic crossed continents, sparing only a fraction of the global population. The survivors are now trying to pick up the pieces and rebuild society - to create a new future. But with no cities, no laws, no technology, everyone must start over. And the worst of human nature has survived along with the best... 8.1 Bandit Train by Christopher Hatherall Society is slowly rebuilding. Abby and Jenny are transporting supplies between settlements. Craig is learning how to run the steam engines on lines cleared by Greg Preston. But there are still those who just want to take. And their train is about to come under attack… 8.2 Robert by Jane Slavin Once, Robert Malcolm had a complicated life. His wife in an institution, his girlfriend running a struggling business, he was out of the army and without a place in the world. When the Death came, it meant many things to many people. For Robert, it meant freedom. 8.3 The Lost Boys by Lisa McMullin Peter Grant is alive. He is with Robert Malcolm’s army of boy soldiers, learning to survive. Building a better future. But medic Ruth has her suspicions when she visits the camp. And Craig is about to find out what it takes to become a recruit. 8.4 Village of Dust by Roland Moore Abby, still desperate for the reunion she’s been seeking for years, now knows that Peter is part of an army. Meanwhile, Jenny realises that someone is drawing plans against her budding Federation. A war is coming, and mother and son are on different sides.
