Were you worried in Robot of Sherwood when the Doctor told Alan-a-Dale he had only 6 months to live??!! Well worry no more because he is alive and we've got the proof. The cast sits down with the actor who played him, Ian Hallard. Not only do we revive the Merry Minstrel, we talk about Ian's small but important role in An Adventure in Space and Time. We talk Sherlock. We talk Poirot. We even talk about Ian's significant other and fellow Who/Sherlock coworker Mark Gatiss. Does Mr. Gatiss join in on the all fun? Maybe... We won't tell you for sure. Listen and find out. And for those of you who download the podcast version, we have a special news segment featuring more on season 9, including the return of a beloved character and a discussion as to how that could be happening. Plus, news on the DC TV series Legends of Tomorrow, featuring Arthur Darvill doing a little time traveling of his own. Markwho42. More fun than watching for red skies.

There are those stories that are widely reviled like "The Twin Dilemma" and "Delta and the Bannermen". Then there are those that exist on the underbelly, those whose creators will deny the existence of to this day, those that belong in the dustbin with "The Macra Terror".

"The Time Monster" is one such story. Rumor has it that any "Doctor Who" story with the word "time" is doomed to failure; "The Time Warrior" is one exception, while "The Time Monster" has a special place in the producers' file cabinet filed under W for "What Were We Thinking?" Clearly, these are spoilers for what we think of the story, but sometimes the fun is just in poking fun, isn't it?

The adage states that the strongest metals are tested through fire. While we may not fully grasp the accuracy of a blacksmithing reference, we’ve seen (and perhaps experienced) instances where an individual’s resolve strengthens under adverse conditions, or bonds between two or more seem to deepen after emerging from emotional or physical trials. But is an exception, or a rule? Aren’t there just as many examples of comraderies that dissolve in the face of opposition, of relationships that break under the pressure […]

Here is our June episode just in time before the end of the month! And speaking of time, our guest this month is no stranger to time travel. In fact, he travels in space as well as time. He's the star of the Inspector Chronicles and former Inspector Spacetime on NBC's Community, it's Travis Richey! He stops by to discuss his latest projects, his recent birthday wish of jumping out of an airplane, being eaten by a Dinocroc while David Carradine was living it up in Hawaii, and of course, Doctor Who. He also chooses a fantastic reboot of a 70s sci-fi classic, Battlestar Galactica, to chat with us about. If that's not enough, he's also created the Travis Richey Sketch Show on YouTube. Listen out for a sketch after the credits.

Also, joining us from London are James & Ian with the latest news about Twitch, Doctor Who's new composer, and football results.

    Thanks for listening!
