Episode 234: Birds Before Birds Were Cool
Trust Your DoctorOh boy I can already see the debate coming.
Welcome… To Jurassic Spaceship! We’ve spared no expense. This spaceship is made of solid stone, through and through. Couldn’t really afford steel you know, so we went along with this pumice we found lying near that definitely inactive volcano. A few workers walked off the job, never to be seen again, which is kind of weird because we paid them really well, you know? It’s Dinosaurs on a Spaceship, written by Chris Chibnall and aired on September 8, 2012.
Show-notes:
2:02 I’m pretty sure this is the exact documentary I watched 10 years ago. Looks like they made a sequel to it a few years ago.
3:44 The robots in this were in Mission: 2110.
16:44 4D Rubik’s Cube.
25:09 According to the Doctor Who Wiki the robot voices and operators weren’t the same people.
27:26 Naked and Afraid is survival reality show or whatever. I haven’t watched it but it looks pretty bad.
46:24 Godzilla King of Monsters will be out this year, reserve your tickets now.
50:35 Mei long was the name of the dinosaur that they found fossilized in its sleeping position.

Metebelis 2 #102 - The Da Vinci Kaled
Doctor Who: The Metebelis 2Ben and David conclude that Resolution was the true finale to series 11. Great to watch on News Year Day, but the wheels begin to fall off the bus upon subsequent viewings. Great one-off design on a Dalek. Dalek-controlled Lin also gets high marks from the lads. Discussion on moving from a crowded TARDIS to the overflowing TARDIS. Is Chibnall writing the Doctor as a 'scold'? More horror about the console room set and the moving crystals, but praise for the funny looking Victorian sewers. David explains that he's been "trainspotting" Sheffield architecture. And why have random troops at the expense of Brexiting UNIT? What are the magical powers of Chekhov's microwave? Plus the Metebelis Two's usual what-ifs and could'ves story notes on how to expand the story and fill the plot holes. Opening is from Resolution soundtrack. Closing music is "Sonic Screwdriver" by Segun Akinola from series 11.

Untempered Schism Podcast #195 : City of Death
The Untempered Schism PodcastThere is just something indescribable about Paris, as the Fourth Doctor and Romana have quickly discovered. Along with weird time anomalies, aliens from millions of years ago, a rather heavy fisted private detective and at least five extra duplicates of the Mona Lisa hidden inside of a wall. All in all it adds up to another risk to all life on Earth, so all within a day's work for the TARDIS crew.

Gallifrey Stands -Ep241- Jessica Martin
Gallifrey Standswe talk to Jessica Martin who first appeared in Doctor Who in "The Greatest Show in the Galaxy" in the 80's. She also tells us about voicing the royal family originally for Spitting Image, working with Kenny Everett and her up-coming graphic autobiography.
