Who's He? Podcast #256 It's a wonderful, wonderful life
Who's He?It's the Who's He? Podcast Christmas Special! And as the lads have run out of TV Christmas Specials to review (at least until The Feast Of Steven is recovered), they turn to Big Finish for help with a listen to Flip Flop featuring the 7th Doctor and Mel in a Christmas set story. It's the lads first Mel Bush audio story, so how will they find Mel now in this rather unique take on a time travel story, toned down or just as shrill as before? And just how festive is this story, does it reach the heights of an Andy Williams Christmas spectacular or as festive as a Seaside Special hosted by Peter Powell (ask your parents)?
And in the news this week, Class confirmed for a late night slot, Toby Whithouse confirmed for writing duties on series 10 and in Omega's Tat Corner it's time piece tat!
And finally, it just leaves us to say a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our listeners. Thanks for sticking with us!

Das Doctor Who Spin-off Class macht also bei der Folge "The Coach with the Dragon Tattoo" da weiter, wo sie in der ersten Folge aufgehort hatte.

Doctor Who - The High Council Episode 81, Kinda Part 1
Doctor Who - The High CouncilIn a strange twist of events, Doctor Who - The High Council has become Doctor Who - The Writers' Room (with Josh). Happy to have Kyle and Erik, Josh throws the shiny DVD for Kinda into the player and we begin to discuss this really dense story that seems to be an outlier in Season 19. Enjoy Part 1 - because in this case, you almost want to take this story a week at a time.

Reality Bomb Episode 041
Reality Bomb - a Doctor Who podcastOn the forty-first edition of Reality Bomb, we've got a blast from the past as Simon Fraser and Lori Steuart discuss the recent animated reconstruction of The Power of the Daleks. Also, the entire first season of Class is graded by Joy Piedmont and Robert Smith? And Chip Sudderth, ignoring the call from the Ood Sphere and avoiding his fate to rejoin Two-Minute Time Lord, finds a loophole in our "no podcasters" rule to talk about The End of Time, Parts One and Two. Plus: Bruce and Darren return on a time-travelling quest to find the missing episodes!

Accept no parcels in the mail
Who's He?Kerblam! Yes, I can't believe that's the title of this weeks episode of Doctor Who for Phil and Paul to take delivery of. But take delivery they do and in this satire of a well known online store and it's ethics, both of our reviewing duo feel a bit non plussed but kind of enjoyed it at the same time. Does that make a good episode though? Listen to find out!
And in a slow news week, the lads indulge in rumours with stories of series 12 of Doctor Who apparently confirmed by the BBC for 2019 but also paired with rumours of a shorter series and Chibnall and Whittaker leaving!

Episode 148: Why are we Supposed to Care Again?
Trust Your DoctorPeri’s supposedly dead and we don’t care. Kind of like Crozier when Yiv started dying.
The greatest Doctor Who writer ever returns. Philip Martin. Why is he the greatest? Well he created Sil, the best villain we’ve ever had. The Ferengi slash Slug hybrid is the most conniving and genius person who’s ever faced off against the Doctor. It’s Mindwarp, aired in October of 1986.
Show-notes:
5:07 It’s actually six species. I guess. I wouldn’t know since I’ve never watched Start Wreck. I mean Star Trek.
10:11 Hmmm… I think I do.
14:41 Please let this be true.
15:21 Luckily they didn’t go down that route. And I’m sure they wouldn’t pull something like retconning it into happening in a later serial, right? Ha ha.
23:42 Definitely don’t not check out our other podcast, Treble Plane. Though the X-Men episode we talk about here doesn’t come out until like March.
32:33 What most people don’t know is that the theme building at LAX was actually converted from a crashed alien spacecraft back in the 60s. No wonder it looks so futuristic and out of place.
32:55 3 seconds of Google brought me to this list of iconic buildings. Yeah some of these are pretty cool. Probably pretty famous too. Not sure if they’re top-3-worthy though.
