Well, we now know who is in the vault! And we get some pretty sweet back story while setting up what could be a pretty wild three-parter! We dig into the "Long Time Ago" scenes to welcome the inimitable Missy back to our screens and try to make sense of the Monks' Simulation and what that means for the rest of the season!

In this episode, David explains why he thinks the monk are actually undead Exxilons out for revenge. Ben notes the similarities between the complexity of the Monk's plans and the Kraals and the Cybermen. The conversation continues on to discuss the nature of Missy and the Doctor's relationship. And then the two delve into the nature of reality. Finally, in a postscript after the closing music, David asks is suicide an appropriate topic for family teatime telly. Intro Music is from Murray Gold's soundtrack for "Extremis". Closing music is from Dudley Simpson's score for "The Android Invasion".

Jeremy has performed on many other shows including Psych, The Odyssey, and The X-Files. We discuss his acting career and hear behind the scenes stories of his experiences with Doctor Who, Ryan Reynolds, and a very funny moment on the X-Files.

We also catch up on Series 10 of Doctor Who and spend some time on the series that Jeremy has chosen for us this month - the 1967 sci-fi classic, The Prisoner!

We’re gearing up for another Bondfinger commentary podcast in the next couple of weeks: this time, it’s Pierce Brosnan’s first film as Bond, perennial fan favourite GoldenEye (1995) In the meantime, you can still catch up on our commentaries on both films of the Timothy Dalton era.

Todd comes up with a couple of excitingly silly recommendations this week: the film Beauty and the Beast, and the CW teen drama Riverdale. More sensibly, he recommends any Big Finish audio starring Colin Baker and Bonnie Langford. And a final shout-out to Big Finish audio Wirrn Isle.
