Gallifrey's Most Wanted Episode 039 -- "The Moonbase"
Gallifrey's Most Wanted PodcastCybermen invade the Moon, but Ben, Polly, Jamie and the Doctor are there to meet them. It takes all of Polly's feminine know-how (nail varnish remover) and social skills (Coffee, anyone?) to find the source of their power and defeat them. A great 2nd Doctor story, with animation of the missing episodes.

GSN PODCAST: Crash Landing - Episode 5 - GX Todd
Geek SyndicateWelcome to Crash Landing. In this episode Steve speaks to GX Todd, the author of Defender and the forthcoming sequel, Hunted, from Headline. The post-apocalyptic thriller books have been compared to Stephen King and rightly so. Gemma has just 60 minutes to choose 5 books that she couldn't live without if she were to crash land on an alien world and tell you why they're so important to her.

Metebelis 2 #78 - Crystal Clear
Doctor Who: The Metebelis 2This week, the Metebelis 2 pay homage to Graham Strong, the man behind the "crystal clear" recordings of mid-1960s Doctor Who. As fans we owe a great debt to him and his hobby of recording and archiving our favourite television show. Despite neither of us ever meeting him, we wanted to pay our respects and talk about the legacy of his and others' off-the-air recordings from the sixties. We included a few excerpts of interviews with Strong from the BBC and Fantom Films, so we could hear his perspective directly. Opening music is "Mr. Oak and Mr. Quill" composed by Dudley Simpson for Fury from the Deep and closing music is the "Propaganda Sleep Machine" by Brian Hodgson from The Macra Terror. Both stories were recorded by Strong on broadcast.

The Doctor Who Show S03 E05 - Queer Who
The Doctor Who ShowThe third series of The Doctor Who Show continues with Rob and Dave discussing the very broad topic of how queerness has related to Doctor Who over the years.
Over the past month, on a variety of platforms they've asked listeners, what does that mean to you? Does Doctor Who have a disproportionately gay following? If so, why? And who are the LGBT characters (implicit or implied!) you've loved the most? Are there any you disliked?
Before taking on those questions - and a lot more - they do a quick whip around some recent Doctor Who news as well as what's happening in their own fandom at present.
Hear about 500 episodes of classic Who coming to Twitch TV! Learn more about the upcoming James Godd novel, Doctor Who Meets Scratchman! How much did the first Doctor Who script recently sell for? And vale to Graham Strong, one of the most unsung, but important, figures in Doctor Who fandom. Plus a whole lot more!
