Doctor Who icon William Russell sadly passed away this week at the age of 99. He was Ian Chesterton, first male companion of the Doctor, and we had a rare chance to sit and talk with him in 2018 at a convention in Baltimore, MD. In remembrance of William Russell, we present to you our interview from 2018 discussing Doctor Who and his time as the great Sir Lancelot!

This episode of Pieces of Eighth takes us to Sweden... and there's not a Muppet chef in sight.

We discuss this 1990s take on UNIT, and are joined by editor Steve Cole and writer Nick Walters, as we discuss the 22nd Eighth Doctor novel from the BBC Book.

Oh this episode is a corker, its a divisional episode and its two against one becaue we have a special guest. We last saw him wearing a kilt and swinging a sword during our Highlander episode, well this time Mr David Ray is more sensibly dressed yet still full of passion. Kell is in agreement, Meds, not so much which of course makes great content. 

Patrick Stewart pops up in this along with some great effects (for its time) and a naked woman wondering around kissing people to death. Not a bad way to go all in all.
