Episode 33: Dream Teams
Something WhoSteven Schapansky is back for a second stint on Something Who, and we've got a new conceit for the occasion. Steven and Richard both choose a pair of Dream Teams from behind the camera, one for the original series and one from the new. And then, armed with our Dream Teams, we think about stories that we'd like to remake using their talents.
Our original series dream team will consist of a Producer / Script Editor / Director / Writer / Designer and Incidental Music Composer, while our new series dream team will be a Showrunner / Exec / Producer / Writer / Director / Designer and Composer.
And it wouldn't be Something Who if we didn't use that concept as a framework for other discussions.
Please like or share our podcast with people who will enjoy it, so we can build our listener base high for happiness. You can rate us directly on Apple Podcasts or Podchaser.com
The opening music is Three Guitars Mood 2 and, yes, that is Richard playing the ukulele and kazoo on possibly the worst ever version of the Doctor Who theme tune at the end.

Trust Your DoctorA trapezoid has four sides, fun fact.
Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. Our logo is blue, which means at your wedding you can bring Trust Your Doctor and that fulfills one of the four things you’re supposed to have. I don’t know about the rest, but you know if you need something old, well, the antique store is down the road. It’s Something Borrowed, written by Phil Ford and aired on March 5, 2008.

Episode 32: Swashing Buckles
Something WhoAfter it turns out that Richard isn't an android after all (who knew?), he welcomes back Paul and Giles to look at a pair of stories that we might describe as historical romps: 4th Doctor story The Androids of Tara, followed by 12th Doctor adventure Robot of Sherwood. Except, of course, that Tara is set in the future.
Despite the original conversation lasting over two hours, we've got the edited version down to 90 minutes or so and you can be sure that you've missed absolutely nothing.

Podcastica Episode 245: Galaxy 4 or Doctor Who versus The Roombas
PodcasticaPodcastica's Animation Domination block continues with the First Doctor adventure Galaxy 4! While the story in and of itself doesn't exactly grip us--Taylor in fact calls this the least scary Doctor Who story ever--we are certainly entertained by the Chumblies, are impressed by a female-dominated cast (if only fewer of them were villains), and we find a sure-fire way to make this story more fun for everyone at parties!

Taken
Waffle On PodcastWaffle On about Taken.
Hello and Happy New Year to everyone, lets all hope 2022 will be a corker. We hope you all are safe and well.
So Meds and Kell decided to start this years run of Waffle On in style with a great pop corn movie. Sometimes you just want to pop a film on, watch some mindless violence and enjoy seeing the bad guys get their teeth kicked in and legs electrocuted. Made in 2008 this film changed the direction of Liam Neesons career. He went from being a romantic actor to a leading action star. The film produced 2 sequels and a tv series. The films were written by legendary film maker Luc Besson, a often over looked creator who has produced some amazing films such as Fifth Element, Le Femme Nikita, Leon and the brilliant French Taxi films.
As usual please write in via waffleonpodcast@gmail.com or join our Facebook group and send us your thoughts. Sadly due to pandemic and work commitments Meds and Kell will be doing some of the episodes over skype but this shouldn't be for too long. This year we have some cracking ideas for films, some nostalgic, some new, some tv episodes but all talked about with love.
