So Doctor Who is back on our televisions at last! Caleb Woodbridge and Sarah Burrow bring you their thoughts on episode one of series 7 along with brand new guest contributor Emma Sandrey

Are the Daleks still an effective villain? What happened to all the different Daleks we were promised? Just how did Amy and Rory get to the point of divorce? We discuss this and more in this weeks commentary and of course we consider the impact of Jenna-Louise Coleman’s early appearance – and that twist!

As well as the latest news and podcast announcements, I'm joined by local listener and film blogger Nixxi Winter in which we discuss the Russell T Davies era vs the Steven Moffat era as well as discussing The Asylum Of The Asylum Of The Daleks from a film & television critic's point of view. At last!!  After 8 months Phil and Paul have new Doctor Who to review in the shape of Asylum Of The Daleks!  And with the new series, they introduce a new ratings system to the podcast (though how long this will last is anyones guess).  What do they think of the series opener?  Are the Daleks truly scary again or they just the same old easily beaten dustbins?  And why does Phil bring Sir Digby Chicken Caesar into the conversation?

Also, in this week news the tabloids get it wrong again and in Omega's Tat Corner the discussion turns into a question of width (ooer!).
