As we get deeper into the new series of Torchwood, things are starting to heat up! What will our power trio think about this one? Does Miracle Day finally feel like Torchwood, or is it just another episode that promises but doesn't quite deliver? In the area of classic Who, we take a look at the 20th anniversary special "The Five Doctors," or perhaps more accurately titled "The Four Doctors and Some Unused Footage and Only Sort of Four Because William Hartnell Was Dead." Will Uncle Terry's last script for the televised Doctor Who please, or disappoint? And finally, Ian and Matt take a look at the Big Finish audio "A Thousand Tiny Wings," which sees the return of evil Nazi Klein as she and the Doctor deal with some aliens in Kenya in the middle of the Mau Mau Uprising. There's a lot to chat about, and a bit of silliness for good measure!

This week I have reviews of the first two episodes of the brand new series of spin-off series Torchwood, Miracle Day.

Hello and welcome back! The Whocast crew returns with some all new dirt on the next half of Series 6, straight from the San Diego Comic Con. Brian goes over some of the finer points of the panel (which included Matt Smith and Karen Gillan) while Bobby touches on why Christopher Eccleston left the series after only one year as The Doctor. Torchwood talk continues to lead the way this summer as The Three Who Rule take a look at the third episode of Miracle Day, Dead of Night… and what do the lads think of it? In the news this week there’s talk of the new Doctor Who boots filler, the goings-on of the Doctor Who panel at San Diego Comic-Con, action figure and DVD updates and of course the requisite stats. Resuming our Throwback Reviews, we go back to the eighth episode of the 2005 revival of Doctor Who, "Father's Day" by Paul Cornell. (It's an interesting time to watch one of Christopher Eccleston's stories, after his recent remarks about his time on the show were repeated by Martyn from the Bad Wilf podcast.)

It's audio commentary time!! And this month, Phil & Paul show Tony the delights of Attack Of The Cybermen. Yes, last month they promised him a glimpse of the future Doctor Who style and they bring him 1985! However, Tony was fairly impressed with Peri's cleavage, camp sarcastic Cybermen and the Cryons drugs factory. As usual, Phil set Tony one or two tasks during the coure of the evening and Tony also had the temerity to ask why there are no gold Cybermen. The fool!!
