42 to Doomsday - The Final End?
42 To DoomsdayEpisode 77 - Time is called on Australia's longest running and (in)consistent podcast! It is the moment all our fans (but particularly our enemies) have waited for! Before 42 to Doomsday rides off into the distance we strap on the mics one last time to bury Moffat, not once, but twice! We dig through the entrails of early 1990's DWBs delusions, plus listeners feedback where we take down the whole Patreon Industrial-Military complex in a no hold's barred suicide run and then wax poetic as we sink slowly into the sunset! But wait! Who is that *other* voice on the podcast? Could it be...Lord Melbourne?! And what does he bring with him? Could it be...not one, but two cans? But the question you all want to know..will 42 to Doomsday return ?

Nicole Mazza & In The Flesh
Who and CompanyFebruary is the month of hearts and flowers, but this month it may mean hearts being ripped out of chests and flowers on graves. Why? Because this month we're talking about zombies with our featured guest, Nicole Mazza of Terminus: A Doctor Who Podcast! Nicole shares her love of Doctor Who, writing fanfic, and choosing this month's classic show, BBC3's In The Flesh.
This month also sees two new members joining the Who & Company team! James and Ian, formerly of THE Doctor Who Podcast, now form our UK team and report from the recent BFI screening of Day of the Doctor with special guests Steven Moffat and Marcus Hearn in attendance.
Thanks for joining us. See you next month!

Terminus Podcast -- Episode 34 – The Spark Joy Series: Worth the Monsters: The Girl in the Fireplace
Terminus: A Doctor Who PodcastSo, this admittedly might not be the episode you were expecting from me right now – though I can assure you that me chatting about my 'Spyfall' feels is coming soon! HANG IN THERE!
But no, on this episode, instead I continue on with my journey through my 'Spark Joy' series – perhaps for the last time for quote a while? -- with a story I love muchly: 'The Girl in the Fireplace'!
Inside, you'll hear me going on and on for AGES (LONGEST. EPISODE. EVER?) -- all just full of squee and passion (I JUST LOVE THIS STORY, OK?!), with a side of (bleeped) cussing, some meta thoughts about things like polyamory and the nature of the Doctor/Companion relationship, tons and tons of frothing shippiness, and, admittedly, some not-so-nice feels about Rose Tyler thrown in here and there for good measure (sorry in advance!).
So, anyway, hold onto your hats, everyone, and enjoy the ride! I'm so glad to have you all aboard – yet again! -- on this Love Train! #choochoo

111 - Losing The Long Game
Doctor Who: Verity! It's Eccleston time again! Join Deb, Erika, Katrina, and Lynne as we discuss a real workhorse of an episode, "The Long Game". Adam, the not-quite-companion fails, the Doctor and Rose aren't the most mature, and we play "we'll fix it for you" to help Lynne handwave something that bugs her. Then we talk about potato chips. No, really.
What did you think of this one? Did it make an impression? Have you revisited it since the first time you saw it? Let us know in the comments!

Also covered:
- Lynne's collection of Doctor Who DVDs is once again complete, with the purchase of The Underwater Menace!

- Deb's heart is warmed by the goodness of fandom:
- Listener Helen made it possible for a fellow fan to attend Awesome Con!
- Chip, the Two-minute Time Lord, has made quite the contribution to fandom and podcasting, and we'll miss him while he's on hiatus.

#138 - Get That Beard Growing
Doctor Who: The Metebelis 2With 2020 upon us all, it is great to see the return of Doctor Who to BBC One with a new adventure, Spyfall, part one! Ben explains his reasoning why he thinks those shimmery aliens are Vardans, while a skeptical David suggests perhaps they're Gallifreyans from an alternative universe; and is time and space big enough for both Lenny Henry and Sacha Dhawan? Opening and closing music is from the Spyfall soundtrack by Segun Akinola.

Ep 95 - Gallifrey One Recap - The Horns Of Ribos
GeeklecticOur Gallifrey One 29 recap, recorded live in Stephen's hotel room at the LAX Marriott, and in and around Gally. Featuring special guest appearances by Mark Ayres, Alyssa Franke (@whovianfeminism), Emma Caywood, and an air conditioner that seemed to burst to life every darn time we started talking about something important. (I apologize for the sound quality - I attempted to do a "noise filter thing" and all it did was make everything worse, so I made the command decision to let the stupid air conditioner be part of the show. I'm sure its parents are very proud.) MEANWHILE... Here's the link to the thing in the promo at the top of the show. 158 - Masterful
Doctor WhoochIn which, we're back! And worse than ever?
After (checks notes) six months away? Wow. Um... Brandon and Danica are back, because Doctor Who is also back! And holy HECK was it exciting. Anyhow, Spyfall is dope, and you can listen to us fight a timer in order to describe what the sweet hell just happened. Also, we won an award for being the best comic store in Canada, so EAT BUTTS other comic shops! Shut up, YOU'RE drunk.
(Also, apologies for the lack of even the BARE MINIMUM of editing we usually do: GarageBand keeps freezing. Delightful.)
