First up is The War Doctor: Only the Monstrous by Nicolas Briggs. Then we go to Russia to talk about Moose and Squirrel Singularity by James Swallow. DIDDLY DUM PODCAST 050 - Shepherd's Bush 90210
Diddly Dum Podcast
The Four Faces of Delusion pick up from last week’s podcast on the TARGET novelisations by looking at the Doctor Who books published since 1989.
Being between jobs has really lit a fire under Matt who reveals that there’s little he doesn’t know about all these book ranges. This gives a well earned rest to Doc who knows bugger all about any of them.
Along the way, we learn how books kept Hayden from a life a crime and we hear of Matt’s visit to the roof of BBC Television Centre last week and meeting the great Graeme Harper while he was at it.
And of course we discuss the news that Chris Chibnall is to replace The Great Sage as showrunner.

211 - A Good Man Goes to War Games
Doctor Who: Verity!Join Deb, Kat, and Tansy as they reach waaay back to 2011 to re-examine the story that began (ended? landed the middle? it's hard to tell with peak S6-Moffat) the whole "The Doctor is the most fearsome thing in the Universe" lark. No, I didn't misspell "arc". They dive into tropes, power dynamics, issues of morality, the difficulties of (and sexism surrounding) introducing a baby subplot, and how words and titles have meanings. Oh, and how Regency dress and laser guns really really work for us. AND we announce a 7th Anniversary give-away!
How do you feel about this turn in the Doctor mythos? Did you think this was a satisfactory conclusion to The Mystery of River Song? Do you want Tansy to give you a bespoke Big Finish Rec? Leave us a comment or drop us a tweet and let us know!

Happy things:- Tansy is back on her Big Finish train and is loving the #HarrySullivan Short Trips audio!

140 - Best Laid Plans
Arrow of Time
Much like Moffat, we had a clever plan. Also like Moffat, we didn't execute that plan as well as we thought we would. We rushed to record a podcast for you right after the episode aired, then life got in the way of this episode's editor. That being said, here you go dedicated Arrow of Time listener. These are our thoughts, feelings, hopes and dreams after watching "The Doctor Falls."
For this week's WhoTube, Matt found “Doctor/Master – Loving you is a bloodsport” by Graslistia Tigrish – https://youtu.be/sd0mJQgaU7g

^D
Happy things:- Tansy is back on her Big Finish train and is loving the #HarrySullivan Short Trips audio!
- Kat is delighted and amused by Gareth David-Lloyd's on-the-scene reporting of an alleged defacement of Ianto's Shrine!
- Deb is thrilled to announce our 7th Anniversary Giveaway! Leave a comment on our Anniversary Giveaway post for a chance to enter one of seven Big Finish Audio downloads!
