NIKOLA TESLA'S NIGHT OF TERROR! Yes, Doctor Who is in fine form this week with likely one of their best historical guest stars in recent memory! Are there small flaws in the episode? Yes, but we get them out of the way quickly and dive into a rich story that has some great action and lots of excellent character moments! Join us for the ride...we promise to keep the electricity jokes to a minimum!

In this episode, Messrs Tesla and Edison, a.k.a AC/DC, snipe at each other and help the Doctor outwit some rather nasty space scavenger scorpions. The two agree that it was great seeing the fam in period costume and David was excited about seeing a steam train finally in Doctor Who. Ben wonders why a new monster of the week when there is such a rich back catalog to use. Overall good writing, directing, and performances combine for an enjoyable mid-series romp in 1903 New York despite some sloppy CGI work. Opening music is from this week's soundtrack and closing music is "You Really Need to Get Out of Those Clothes" from series 11, both composed by Segun Akinola.
