Deb takes us waaay back to a fun topic from our very first year! Join Deb, Erika, and Kat as we decide who are the definitive companions for each Doctor. It's fun to see if our opinions (except Kat, who wasn't on that Extra!) have changed over the last eight years!
Which companions do you think are definitive for each Doctor? Drop us a tweet or let us know in the comments!
We review ‘Empress of Mars’, the ninth episode of Doctor Who Series 10. The Doctor, Bill, and Nardole go to Mars, encounter the Ice Warriors, and see an unexpected friend dating back to the Third Doctor era. Hosted by Kyle Jones, Clarence Brown, and Lee Shackleford.

Our guest for this episode is Big Finish sound designer and podcaster, Benji Clifford.
We talk about the contrast between the past and present of what is acceptable in entertainment, sound design (of course) and what it's like to find yourself working on a show you grew up loving as a kid.
Philip recommends Survivors (Big Finish full cast audio series)

@TinDogPodcast is not at 2002! The Web of Time is stretched to breaking. History is leaking like a sieve. In the Citadel of Gallifrey, the Time Lords fear the end of everything that is, everything that was... everything that will be. The Doctor holds the Time Lords' only hope - but exactly what lengths will the Celestial Intervention Agency go to in their efforts to retrieve something important from within his TARDIS? What has caused Imperiatrix Romanadvoratrelundar to declare war on the rest of creation? And can an old nursery rhyme about a monster called Zagreus really be coming true? The answers can only be found outside the bounds of the universe itself, in a place that history forgot. In the wastegrounds of eternity. In the Neverland.

This time we discuss the 5th Doctor story The Visitation! We go deep on the interpersonal dynamics on the TARDIS right now, marvel at a sparkly droid, and behold the joy that is the character of Richard Mace!
Team TARDIS are finally getting Tegan back to Heathrow, but they’re 315 years early. That’s okay, right? The air is clean, the locals are...being controlled by a fugitive Tereleptil bent on exterminating the human race and taking over the planet using a modified version of the Black Plague. Just a regular day in jolly old England, yeah? Can The Doctor save the day without his sonic? Can Nyssa turn up the bass against a sparkly android? Can Tegan manage to get through an adventure without being possessed? And could Adric possibly whine and cry in the same story? It’s all that and more during The Visitation!

Children get older, and we're getting older, too. One way we can tell is that we can't hold our liquor like we could at the beginning of the Moffat era! In any case, we had a lot of fun talking about "Empress of Mars," and we hope you have some fun listening to us get silly on the podcast this week.

This week, we’re orbiting around a black hole talking about flat-pack furniture and making lewd comments about security guards, while all around us the kitchen staff are gearing up for a massive attack on God himself. I suppose that’s why they call it The Impossible Planet.
