In Phil's first look at a movie for a very long time, he picked 1973's High Plains Drifter starring Clint Eastwood.

The story follows a mysterious stranger, who arrives in the small town of Lago, situated in the high plains of the American west. The townspeople are terrorised by a gang of outlaws who are due to be released from prison soon, and they hire the Stranger to protect them.

But this movie is western with a supernatural twist and turns the pioneering west on its head.
