We're well underway into 2018 now, and we are still waiting for more updates on series 11. Do not fear though, we are here for another edition of the podcast to discuss all of the latest news (Including two new directors for series 11). Plus, we look back on the highs, the lows and everything in between from the Steven Moffat era of doctor who, review the David Tennant story the Idiots Lantern and discuss the latest news from the last seven days in the doctor who universe.

Back in 1981, then-Doctor Who producer John Nathan-Turner had a season of repeats called "The Five Faces of Doctor Who" that launched Peter Davison as fifth Doctor. So in this podcast, Ben and David suggest incoming showrunner Chris Chibnall have a summer season of the thirteen faces of Doctor Who to help launch Jodie Whittaker as the new Doctor, and being ever so helpful, they each have compiled a list of which thirteen stories to rebroadcast. Security is tight as Tony Jordan, eminence grise (and never was an eminence griser) of the Doctor Who Appreciation Society, visits the Whoseum to look forward to the Terrance Dicks celebration on 15th March 2020, organised jointly by the DWAS and The Whoovers. Tony also presents to the Whoseum his mint condition first edition of “The Making of Doctor Who” by Terrance Dicks & Malcolm Hulke.

(00:30:45) The Doctor Who Appreciation Society will host “The Capitol Five”, a full scale, two day event which will take place at the Crowne Plaza, London Gatwick over the weekend of the 25th & 26th April 2020. As with all DWAS events, The Capitol Five will offer a mix of guests panels, on screen presentations, autographs, photo studio, merchandise and much more.

(00:39:38) “The Making of Doctor Who” was a non-fiction work by Terrance Dicks and Malcolm Hulke published by Piccolo Books. The first edition was principally written by Hulke in 1972. It was later followed by a second edition, rewritten by Dicks in 1976 from Target Books. It stands as the first professionally published non-fiction book about the series.

What's worse than a Wet Willy? A Wet Willy from a space immortal who gives you nightmares. It's obvious when you say it out loud.  This week we're talking about Series 12's, Can You Hear Me?
