The Oncoming Storm Ep 185: The Magic Mousetrap, Iterations of I, Deadly Download, The Horror of Glam Rock
The Oncoming StormSo, remember the last time The Oncoming Storm reviewed audios, and how no one got along? Well, welcome to the sequel! And with all sequels, its bigger and bloodier than ever! The Oncoming Storm episode 185 sees Josh, Jeff, Ashley, and Rachel lacing up their boxing gloves and getting into the ring of online reviews! The first bout is over The Magic Mousetrap by Matthew Sweet. Things get a little heated as they discuss this 7th Doctor story about memory and the return of an old foe. Luckily, everyone gets a breather when Iterations of I by John Dorney is discussed, and everyone enjoys the return of Adric! It doesn't last though when the Sarah Jane Adventures story, Deadly Download by Jason Arnopp is the subject and Josh gets a bee in his bonnet over it! Not to be outdone, Jeff has serious issues as we visit The Horror of Glam Rock by Paul Magrs. Jeff REALLY doesn't like Josh and Rachel's beloved Glam music, and isn't afraid to show it! Does everyone make it out alive? Will Ashley get a word in anywhere? Join us and find out! The Oncoming Storm... This time, we've got swears galore. Josh is a potty mouth. The management apologizes on his behalf.

Big Blue Box Podcast - Episode 113
The Doctor Who Big Blue Box PodcastWelcome aboard the Tardis Who fans as we venture into episode 113 for some Doctor Who news, latest merch and our weekly review!
The News
Our US listeners will be pleased to know that The Power of the Daleks, the upcoming animated restore of the lost story, will be in cinemas on 14th November, a few days before it airs on TV. Check out the Fathom Events site for more details.
A bunch of new Class pics have emerged giving us more insight into the setup and characters. Exciting as we’re mere days away from episodes 1 and 2 going live.
Merch
Character Toys have released the first image for a new 5.5 inch figure which is the 10th Doctor in Tuxedo. It looks, well, rubbish but maybe a suitable addition to your collection if you’re into your figures.
“Kill the Moon” Review
Another often divided story and one that came under a lot of flack when it first went out. Capaldi’s fun trip to the moon soon turns sour but does this one provide enough gravitas with the story or are we left feeling the coldness of space?
Thank you all for listening and your thoughts on Kill the Moon. Next week it’s a classic story and we’re in the mood for some 2nd Doctor so get ready for The Krotons. Until than have a great week and remember – Allons-y!!

Episode 23 - Rise of the Cybermen/Age of Steel
Who's Doing What NowThe Doctor and companions find themselves on a parallel earth this week. Aside from the Zeppelins, Rose's dad still alive, and the Cybermen, it's pretty much the same earth we all know. Ok, so there are a fair amount of different things on this earth.
But the big thing this week is the return of a fan favorite, the Cybermen. They're on the same mission as they always are, but in this adventure they're dressed in the hottest fall fashion exoskeletons.

Episode 300 - Time Eddy II & CCC
Traveling the VortexWell, we’ve made it to episode 300. And there was no better time to make this milestone as this past weekend where we celebrated at Time Eddy II, the Wichita Doctor Who convention right here in our home state of Kansas. We came back exhausted from the event, but with some memories that we will cherish forever.
And, we have with us some material that you will only hear, right here on the program.
It’s a long episode this week, the longest we’ve produced in some time, But, we hope it will be worth it as we talk about our weekend adventure at a convention that should be heralded as a premiere event for years to come.
Enjoy!

GSN PODCAST: Grouchy Old Geeks - Episode 7
Geek SyndicateWelcome to Grouchy Old Geeks, a monthly podcast that discusses everything and anything in geek news, from the Statler and Waldorf of British podcasts hosts. Previously GoG was called Comic Book Outsiders, and we've been podcasting for 9 years. We decided a rebrand and refresh was in order to reflect how the show has changed over the years.
This episode Steve and Scott start off with some news and reviews, with Scott predicting the future of all films in a few years time. For our main feature we talk about the Marvel Netflix series Luke Cage. If you haven't seen the show, or haven't finished watching it, then don't worry as we have a non-spoiler discussion about it before going into spoilers and giving you plenty of warning, so you might have to pause just the last bit to listen to later on.
If you would like to get in touch with the show you can email us at grouchyoldgeeks@gmail.com, you can find our Facebook page at www.grouchyoldgeeks.com or you can follow us on Twitter @SteveAryan and @ScottGrandison

Episode 4: Doctor Mysterio Jr.
This Is Where It Gets ComplicatedHello, Whovians! This Is Where It Gets Complicated is back! This month, our trio of hosts speak at great length about TORCHWOOD S01E04: CYBERWOMAN. We found out first hand why secrets don't make friends, that Ianto cries a whole lot, and that Owen is a creepy weirdo (and that's putting it lightly). Then, it's time for the Semi-Finals and Finals of our COSTUME SHOWDOWN! Who was the best dressed Doctor in our opinion? In FINISH AT THE FINISH, we build a great big golden statue for everyone's favorite shapeshifter Frobisher! We reviewed the comical, but also very bizarre Big Finish audio THE HOLY TERROR! Plus pizza talk, murder cats, and much more!

Doctor Whooch // Episode A Hundred // Sober Reflection
Doctor WhoochIn which we celebrate good time. C'mon.
On what is almost definitely Doctor Whooch's first and only A Hundredth episode, we have a couple of guests that have never been on the show before... sober Brandon and Danica! No lies, this one is weird. But if you ever wondered how much of the show comes about because we're drunk, and how much of the show is just us, well... you're going to get your answer.
Thank you to everyone who listens to the show - you mean a lot to us, and we're pretty fond of you. Here's to many more over the next few years.
Outro music is "Hang on to The Night" by Tegan and Sara

The Fifth Doctor Retrospective
Trust Your DoctorIn hindsight maybe not doing this with Krynoid was why this episode was all over the place.
Remember how the Fourth Doctor Retrospective was fun? This is… sort of fun? We take a look back at good old Peter Davison, and try to discuss his brief but fun era of Doctor Who.
Show-notes:
1:09 Which you can do here. Just saying. Not gonna force you to listen to it or anything. Mainly because I can’t. But you should listen to it.
9:25 Well maybe it needed to die.
28:54 Make it happen BBC.
32:53 Y’know. The cliffhanger-y one. The one where he’s gonna crash the ship. Hold on, I’m trying to find it. Hmm… where is it… Oh, here it is. Sorry about that. Yeah, I really liked this one. Even though it’s a quote unquote cool one.
37:31 The Life of Pie argument goes states that it’s more fun to eat pie than to do anything else in the world, so it urges people to stop what they’re doing at any time (and every time) to eat pie.
39:00 Yeah, it’s like a couple hundred thousand if you trust science as well. But I wouldn’t trust science if I were you cause last time I did I woke up in Anchorage wearing only socks and a sombrero.
