Picks of the week
Brendan
Brendan recommends Matrix, by Robert Perry & Mike Tucker, a BBC Past Doctor Adventure which answers the seldom-asked question, So what’s the Valeyard up to these days?
Peri’s ultimate fate is explored by Nev Fountain in Big Finish audio Peri and the Piscon Paradox.
(Brendan also mentions in passing the New Adventures novel Bad Therapy, which features the Seventh Doctor and Peri, weirdly.)
Nathan
Nathan goes embarrassingly highbrow again, recommending the BBC1 comedy frock drama Decline and Fall, based on the novel by Evelyn Waugh.
Todd
Todd comes up with a couple of excitingly silly recommendations this week: the film Beauty and the Beast, and the CW teen drama Riverdale. More sensibly, he recommends any Big Finish audio starring Colin Baker and Bonnie Langford. And a final shout-out to Big Finish audio Wirrn Isle.

42 to Doomsday - Continuity Capers!
42 To DoomsdayEpisode 67 - Mark and Rob are back with our latest episode looking at continuity! Joining us are Richard and Dave as we sit down for a good long chat about how production teams, and fans, (mis)handled continuity over the shows' history. Listen as we wrestle with continuity conundrums, gasp at the insanity that gripped the production team in the 1980s, scratch your heads along with us as we wonder what the heck Moffat is up to, before peering into the future and contemplating what the Once and Future Chibnall will do with the shows' long and storied history. All this, plus we assemble for our Target Library reviews and listen to Rob as he goes mad trying to link Soviet propaganda with the 1981 cover of Doctor Who and The Cybermen!

This podcast will relate some of the stories from those books... and beyond.

Untempered Schism Podcast #162 : Silver Nemesis
The Untempered Schism PodcastBack on Earth and in the (at the time) present day, the Seventh Doctor and Ace are finding themselves in the usual sort of mess dealing with Cybermen, Nazis, time travel witches, living metal and someone who looks a bit like the Queen if you squint a bit. It all adds up to not very much, which is quite a pity considering what it was meant to celebrate.

Doctor Who - Ep142: Take My Breath Away
The Doctor Who Big Blue Box PodcastHey Who fans! Welcome aboard once more, let’s get this show on the road, or, space-time continuum, meh.
The News
We chat about the confirmed weekly viewing figures for Knock Knock, David Tennant and Billie Piper are back together for new Tenth Doctor Adventures for Big Finish(!), Michelle Gomez confirms her departure after series 10 and the Beeb launch a new interactive 360@ mobile game (which you can find at bbc.in/dw360).
Merch Corner
Our Dalek friend failed us again this week with no new merch to speak of.
“Oxygen” Review
Doctor Who certainly leans on the “Alien-esque” vibe at times and this episode certainly felt that way. Lots of suspense and atmosphere but did we get into it like a snug smart-suit or are we left feeling the coldness of space?
Thank you as always you beautiful lot for listening and getting involved. Next week we’ll be looking at the episode set to change the course of this series so far – Extremis so get your thoughts in for that. Until next time have a great week and remember – Allons-y!

Whocast #344 - Atemberaubend

The Oncoming Storm Ep 199: Architects of History, The Girl Who Never Was, The Beginning
The Oncoming StormFor the one hundred and ninety ninth time, The Oncoming Storm is back to talk the best and brightest of Doctor Who audios! Well, maybe. There's some contention this week, and it sends the show careening off of the tracks. Again. But at least it's not about River Song this time! It starts off okay, with Josh, Ashley, Rachel, and Jeff talking about Architects of History by Steve Lyons. It wraps up the Klein trilogy in a flourish of time travel bendy-ness! Then the contention starts with the discussion about Charley's swan song with the 8th Doctor, The Girl Who Never Was by Alan Barnes. Bet you can't guess who didn't like this one! Everyone tries to recover to look at the 50th anniversary Companion Chronicle, The Beginning by Marc Platt, but has the damage already been done? All of this, and discussion of the big news of the week that... no one can agree on. The Oncoming Storm... This time, we've got so much salt, we put Morton's to shame.
