TDP 1011: #Torchwood The Five People You Kill in Middlesbrough
Tin Dog PodcastThis title was released in June 2021. It will be exclusively available to buy from the Big Finish website until 31 August 2021, and on general sale after this date. When a spaceship crashes on Middlesbrough it’s very sad, of course. But we at Torchwood have long had a plan to contain such a disaster. Only, nothing is happening. And the disaster is spreading. So, I set out to find out what’s going on. What has happened to The Icarus Protocol? Who launched a Moonstrike Missile? And why will no-one admit that there's a cloud of deadly particles sweeping across the United Kingdom? My name is Yvonne Hartman. Don't come between me and my country.

Radio Free Skaro #810 - The Tiffany Network
Radio Free SkaroIn the wake of Jodie Whittaker and Chris Chibnall’s mutual decision to leave the good ship Doctor Who we have precisely the sort of pointless speculation, cogitation and puffery you’d expect from three fans with nothing but wisps of info to grasp to, along with some serious digression into the current nature of television, why CBS is still a tedious money machine, action dolly and Big Finish news, and more! All this and part the first of our commentary for the original Three Who Rule in “State of Decay”!

Radio Free Skaro #932 - The Dark Crystal
Radio Free SkaroAnother week, another absolute deluge of Doctor Who news has buried the Three Who Rule in minutiae. Amongst the highlights are The Star Beast news, Steven Moffat absolutely dominating a Best Of poll in DWM, the name of the Christmas Special being nonchalantly announced by Disney , Ncuti Gatwa looking dapper as usual in British GQ, and so…much…more! Also, we correct the record of onscreen Metebelis crystals, dispel rumours of a new spinoff starring Paul McGann, and kibosh an erroneous story about missing episodes!

14 for 14 (The Doctor Who Show Presents...)
The Doctor Who ShowOn July 29, the BBC announced that Chris Chibnall and Jodie Whittaker would be leaving Doctor Who after a six-part series later in 2021 and three specials in 2022, ending around November with the centenary celebrations of the BBC.
In the spirit of our '21 Replacements For 12' episode on February 1, 2017 (where we came up with 21 potential new Doctors to replace Peter Capaldi), here we discuss 14 picks (seven each), to replace Jodie Whittaker as the Doctor.
We also discuss Joe Michael Straczynski (aka 'JMS') throwing his hat into the ring to be the new showrunner of Doctor Who. Naturally, we approve.
Who would YOU cast as the 14th Doctor? Why not get in touch and let us know?

The Cappuccino Thing
Flight Through Entirety: A Doctor Who PodcastThis week, in orbit of the Planet Neptune, a Doctor Who story is created which kills literally everyone who watches it. Which is why we should probably have thought twice before inviting the lovely Jeremy Radick to discuss it with us.
Notes and links
Steven Moffat’s version of Dracula (2020) is actually Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss’s version of Dracula. It stars the beautiful and terrifying Claes Bang in the title role, and it features the full complement of Moffat and Gatiss tropes, which will either be to your taste or not.
And The Ring (2002) — a remake of the Japanese film Ringu (1998) — also contains a video which will kill all the people who watch it. (In seven days. It’s nice to have a definite timeline.)
Nathan and Erik Stadnik also share a birthday with Samuel Anderson. Forgot to mention that.
Follow us
Nathan is on X as @nathanbottomley, James is @ohjamessellwood, Simon is @simonmoore72, and Jeremy is @JeremyRadick. The Flight Through Entirety theme was arranged by Cameron Lam. You can follow the podcast on X at @FTEpodcast.
We’re also on Facebook, Mastodon, and Bluesky, and you can check out our website at flightthroughentirety.com. Please consider rating or reviewing us on Apple Podcasts, or we’ll start monetising your toilet breaks, thereby creating one of the most horrific Doctor Who monsters imaginable.
And more
Our newest podcast is Startling Barbara Bain, our Space: 1999 commentary podcast, whose first episode was released just a couple of weeks ago. In that episode, we talked over the show’s pilot Breakaway, in which the moon is hurled from its orbit by a terrible nuclear explosion.
Maximum Power is continuing its journey through Series C of Blakes 7. This week, the crew of the Liberator encounter some pacifists with a surprisingly deadly weapon in the third episode, Volcano.
And finally, there’s our Star Trek commentary podcast, Untitled Star Trek Project, featuring Nathan and friend-of-the-podcast Joe Ford. This week, we went back to Star Trek: Lower Decks for a violent and extremely cathartic holodeck episode called Crisis Point.

Flight Through Entirety: A Doctor Who PodcastThis week, in orbit of the Planet Neptune, a Doctor Who story is created which kills literally everyone who watches it. Which is why we should probably have thought twice before inviting the lovely Jeremy Radick to discuss it with us.
