Who's He? Podcast 452 | The Celestial Toymaker Animation Review
Who's He?In this episode of the Who's He? Podcast.....
Review - The Celestial Toymaker Animation
In a first for this podcast, we attended a world premiere! Yes, Phil & Scott visited the BFI on London's glittering South Bank to watch the freshly animated The Celestial Toymaker, starring William Hartnell, Peter Purves, Jackie Lane and Michael Gough.
In a return to the animation style used for The Web of Fear, fandom was once again up in arms at what was perceived as a step backwards for animating missing episodes. But did that 90 second trailer for The Celestial Toymaker do this project any justice? And how did Phil and Scott feel after they watched all four animated episodes? The answer may surprise you!
You can find us on X and Facebook, you can subscribe to our show on Apple Podcasts/iTunes, Spotify, Amazon Podcasts, Google Podcasts plus many other podcatchers and don't forget to subscribe to our Youtube Channel.
