Terminus Podcast -- Mini Episode 5 – DragonCon 2019 (+ Bonus Listener Feedback!)
Terminus: A Doctor Who PodcastOn this episode, I take a small little detour from my recent 'Spark Joy' series to share all of my squeeful adventures at DragonCon 2019 with you guys, including – spoilers! – meeting David Tennant, Freema Agyeman, and Catherine Tate, as well as several other things that happened at the convention. Heck, I even time-stamped them all for those of you wanting to skip to certain parts, as I can get a bit detailed. And loquacious.
I also take some time to finish up with answering my recent lengthy feedback from listener Vanessa (that I started on last episode). Traveling the Vortex
In this week’s episode, we step away from Doctor Who just a bit to examine films that the actors who played the Doctor have starred in over the years. This gives us a chance to look at a greater body of work outside of the character we know and love. And, because it is almost Halloween, we decided to choose movies that could be considered a horror, a thriller, or just spooky in story and tone.
So this week we look at Fourth Doctor actor Tom Baker in the story anthology film, Vault of Horror and Ninth Doctor actor Christopher Eccleston in the Danny Boyle directed zombie film, 28 Days Later.

Doctor Who Short Trips - The Last Days by Evan Pritchard
Doctor Who : The Sirens of Audio73 C.E. The Doctor, Susan, Ian and Barbara land in Judea and quickly find themselves separated.
The Doctor and Susan are camped with the Roman army led by Flavius Silva.
Ian and Barbara are trapped atop Masada with the last Jewish zealots to stand against the might of Rome.
Barbara knows the fate of these people. Ian had never heard of Masada until their arrival.
History cannot be changed. Not one line.
Ian, now known by the people of Masada as Joab, doesn't care about history.

We speculate about what changes RTD has in store for the viewers and lament the end of the Whittaker era and the overall lack of buzz during the Chibnall era. Opening music is "Hanging on the Tablaphone" and closing music is "All The Strange, Strange Creatures" both composed by Murray Gold. We recorded this episode on 17 May 2022.
