Episode 482 – Mucho Master 1 – Doctor?
Traveling the VortexThis week we begin the Doctor Who Unbound series, starting with 'Auld Mortality' and 'Sympathy for the Devil'.
-
Episode 482 – Mucho Master 1 – Doctor?
Traveling the VortexIn this week’s podcast, we start to look back on a series of audios that Big Finish produced that tell Doctor Who stories a little differently. Doctor Who Unbound audios are ‘What if…?” stories that feature alternative universe versions of the Doctor and Companions,
First is Auld Mortality, written by Marc Platt and features Geoffrey Bayldon as the Doctor and Carole Ann Ford as Susan,
Then we review Sympathy for the Devil by Jonathan Clements and starring David Warner as a third incarnation of the Doctor, Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart played by Nicholas Courtney, and Sam Kisgart (shhh,,, it’s really Mark Gattis) as The Master. A pre-Doctor Who David Tennant is also in this story as Colonel Brimmicombe-Wood.
We also talk about the news of the week.
Enjoy!
