Planes, Trains & Automobiles
Waffle On Podcast
Waffle On About Planes, Trains & Automobiles
Hello and welcome to the Christmas edition of Waffle On and what better way than to reminisce about a classic feel good Christmas film from John Hughes. Planes, Trains & Automobiles came out in 1987 and is actually a Thanksgiving set film but hey, come on it feels and looks like a Christmas film and as we in England don't celebrate thanksgiving we class it as a Christmas film. Starring Steve Martin and John Candy in the lead roles this films which is basically a road movie comedy, it is packed with laughs, slapstick and of course feel good moments.
We pack this episode of Waffle On with clips from the film and a couple of songs featured on the soundtrack. Many thanks go to Jen Rhodes from The Anomaly Podcast and Stephen Curtis from Tiny Bronco Productions who sent us mp3 comments about this film
As is our norm these days we play a classic song from the film after the promo's so please do listen through and enjoy the brilliant tune.
Finally may we take this moment to say thank you for staying with us in 2010, we cant wait to bring you more Waffle On's in the New Year, so please do have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Meds and Kell.

Radio Free Skaro #229 - With A Little Help From My Friends
Radio Free SkaroThe stream of commentaries that the Three Who Rule have been unleashing upon the world for the past several months finally concludes with their real-time review of the Series 5 finale The Big Bang. And what an episode to go out on, all three were as admiring of the story as they were when it first went out in June and nothing has changed in the mean time. Also of note, this is Warren's last episode from China, a nation whose internet connection is almost as dodgy as its human rights record. Next week: new Doctor Who in the form of A Christmas Carol. And we can't wait, either.

Staggering Stories Commentary #20: Doctor Who - The Horns of Nimon
Staggering Stories PodcastSummary:
Adam J Purcell, Andy Simpkins and Keith Dunn sit down, stupified, in front of the 1979 Doctor Who story, The Horns of Nimon, and spout our usual nonsense!Romana’s screwdriver is more impressive than the Doctor’s, the Co-Pilot’s flashing his underwear and Soldeed is chewing through the scenery. But enough of their problems, please sit down with us to dissolve your sanity to The Horns of Nimona|
See if you can spot the points where we each lose the will to live!

Pharos Project 31: Badgers? We Don't Need No Stinking Badgers
The Pharos Project PodcastWe're back!
Once more the Projecteers have gathered to get drunk, take the piss out of each other and sometimes talk about Doctor Who.
This week we get stuck into "The Monster of Peladon", draw another DVD from Manilow's bag, have a load of feedback to read and, in a curious move, discuss this week's Who related episode of Corrie.
We're using a new mike for this show and the audio is a little hissy. This is because we're idiots and had the gain up too high, so apologies for that. Why am i telling you this anyway? Nobody actually reads this guff. Prove me wrong, if you send some feedback (pharos.project@yahoo.co.uk) include the word "clinker" somewhere in the email.
