With only slightly more news than the most unnewsiest Radio Free Skaro ever, the Three Who Rule pretty much get right to this week's commentary, blathering all over the (somewhat) unfairly maligned Nightmare of Eden. In a story that tackles some pretty dark and adult subjects like drug abuse, and featuring outlandish faux-German accents at the same time, Shaun Lyon, Program Director for the Gallifrey One convention, joined in the festivities, as it is his hands-down favorite Who story, and a story he defended with great aplomb. But what did the rest of your hosts think? Sit back, turn on some Pink Floyd, break open a pack of Vraxoin, and find out!

It's been put off long enough. The Oncoming Storm return to the New Adventures in episode 66! Everything looks different around Oncoming Storm HQ. There are tropical plants EVERWHERE, and  we're not sure, but there may be a plesiosaur in the bath. Is it some world altering event? Nope, it's just Blood Heat by Jim Mortimore! And while they may not have the special edition version of the story to talk about, Josh & Ashley think this week's book is already pretty special! Join them as the discussion turns to the effectiveness of parallel world stories, the Brigadier's bloodthirtyness, and ask, "Should there have been another way?" The Oncoming Storm... Waffle On about Dad’s Army

A classic TV series from the late 60’s made in the UK. Dad’s Army tells the wonderful tale of the Home Guard during World War 2, full of warmth, humour and good old British stiff upper lip nonsense. Meds and Kell waffle on about how much they enjoy this classic tv series which ran for nine series and featured the talents of Arthur Lowe, John Le Mesurier, Clive Dunn, Arthur Ridley, John Laurie, James Beck, Bill Pertwee, Frank Williams and Ian Lavender.

As you may expect, we don't agree about what types of essays we like best, but we do agree that this is an excellent addition to anyone's Doctor Who nonfiction library. If you want to check out one example of what you can find in it, take a gander at Rachel Swirsky's "The Girl Who Waited (for the Guidance Counselor to Get to His Point)". Though as we point out, the essays in this book run the gamut, so there's something for everyone!

Now if we had to link in the show notes to all the things Gareth has done in Doctor Who and Doctor Who related media the internet would likely melt down due to overload.  Suffice to say Gareth has written for Doctor Who, The Sarah Jane Adventures and Big Finish.  He has written short stories and full length novels featuring Doctors new and old.

The latest work from Gareth is a novelisation of the “lost” story of Doctor Who, Shada.  This story has never enjoyed an official release in book form until now.  Trevor talks to Gareth about the challenges of bringing this story to life in the printed form.

We also announce the winner of the Robert Shearman competition from Episode #130.
