Tim's Take On: Episode 180(Flashing Blade Picnic 2013)
Tim's Take On...We can't bring you the food or the drink but we can bring you an uncut version of the evil off and a flavour of what it was like to be Flashing in The Park. BTW if I had been able to ask my question in the Evil Off it would have been "You both look pretty scary to me, so bearing that in mind, Who is first against the wall when the revolution comes?"

Who's He? Podcast #57 Now you talk about your childhood wishes
Who's He?It's that time of the month again when the Who's He? team turn their attentions towards another audio commentary and this month it's Day Of The Daleks. Once again Phil and Paul are joined by Tony for his monthly turn behind the microphone and as usual he lets loose with his little known "facts" on what really went on with the actors and behind the scenes stories that made up the production of this classic Doctor Who story. However, Tony took it upon himself to go through puberty again during the recording of this episode, which Phil and Paul constantly remind him of. Also during the course of recording, Phil gets misty eyed at the sight of a young Katy Manning and they also introduce what has to be the shortest news section in the history of this podcast.

Radio Free Skaro #306 - XYP-A-Dee-Doo-Dah
Radio Free SkaroWith only slightly more news than the most unnewsiest Radio Free Skaro ever, the Three Who Rule pretty much get right to this week's commentary, blathering all over the (somewhat) unfairly maligned Nightmare of Eden. In a story that tackles some pretty dark and adult subjects like drug abuse, and featuring outlandish faux-German accents at the same time, Shaun Lyon, Program Director for the Gallifrey One convention, joined in the festivities, as it is his hands-down favorite Who story, and a story he defended with great aplomb. But what did the rest of your hosts think? Sit back, turn on some Pink Floyd, break open a pack of Vraxoin, and find out!

The Oncoming Storm Ep 66: NA # 19 For the Children
The Oncoming StormIt's been put off long enough. The Oncoming Storm return to the New Adventures in episode 66! Everything looks different around Oncoming Storm HQ. There are tropical plants EVERWHERE, and we're not sure, but there may be a plesiosaur in the bath. Is it some world altering event? Nope, it's just Blood Heat by Jim Mortimore! And while they may not have the special edition version of the story to talk about, Josh & Ashley think this week's book is already pretty special! Join them as the discussion turns to the effectiveness of parallel world stories, the Brigadier's bloodthirtyness, and ask, "Should there have been another way?" The Oncoming Storm... This time... yeah ok, it's dinosaurs. You knew it, we knew it, no point in trying to be clever.

Waffle On about Dad's Army
Waffle On PodcastWaffle On about Dad’s Army
A classic TV series from the late 60’s made in the UK. Dad’s Army tells the wonderful tale of the Home Guard during World War 2, full of warmth, humour and good old British stiff upper lip nonsense. Meds and Kell waffle on about how much they enjoy this classic tv series which ran for nine series and featured the talents of Arthur Lowe, John Le Mesurier, Clive Dunn, Arthur Ridley, John Laurie, James Beck, Bill Pertwee, Frank Williams and Ian Lavender.

Krynoid Podcast 030: The Romans
The Krynoid Podcast"Close your eyes and Nero will give you a big surprise!" Yes, Jim and Martin decide whether it's thumbs up or thumbs down for the second season sand & sandals epic, The Romans, featuring a doddery old codger with a lyre (and Maximus Petullian of Corinth). All Roman life is here - lions, gladiators, a shipwrecked galley, a poisoned chalice and a lecherous lunatic of an Emperor. The Doctor plays air lyre, Vicki giggles and Ian and Babs get (possibly) post-coital. Oh well, when in Rome...

Doctor Whooch - Episode Three: Sex Stuff Will Happen
Doctor WhoochIn which we fill your metaphorical inboxes with all the drunk Who talk you can handle.
In this third installment, Danica has another very important message for the kids, some sex stuff happens with David Tennant, and Brandon picks a fight with Hugh Laurie probably. Also, we stick to the format and discuss "World War III" (the fifth episode of series one) and "The Shakespeare Code" (the second episode of series four) before rolling into some Buffy talk, which may or may not get sad because: "The Body". Yeah, you're getting a wide range of drunks this week. Enjoy!

Under The MiniscopeEver since that one special night in Bethlehem (when the Doctor got the last room), Christmas has been a major part of Western culture- and since 2005, a major part of Doctor Who as well. Sarah and Andrew tackle everything from personal rankings to ratings of Christmasy-ness - including Doctor Who's very first, oft-forgotten Christmas special, and Christopher Eccleston's kinda-sorta Christmas special, this episode is a comprehensive discussion of all things 'Who for the Holidays.'

Verity! Extra! - Chicks Dig Queers Dig Time Lords
Doctor Who: Verity!Apparently it's book season at Verity! For this week's Extra we bring you yet another book review. Join Deb, Erika, Liz, and Tansy as we discuss what we thought of the latest of the "geek chronicles" from Mad Norwegian Press, Queers Dig Time Lords: A Celebration of Doctor Who by the LGBTQ Fans Who Love It.
As you may expect, we don't agree about what types of essays we like best, but we do agree that this is an excellent addition to anyone's Doctor Who nonfiction library. If you want to check out one example of what you can find in it, take a gander at Rachel Swirsky's "The Girl Who Waited (for the Guidance Counselor to Get to His Point)". Though as we point out, the essays in this book run the gamut, so there's something for everyone!

The Ood Cast S04E11- Who's That Girl (Running Around With You)?
The Ood Cast“She has a nice round face with dimples on it … and I quite like her hair.”
Doctor Who is nearly 50. It has been around for almost half a century and yet remains one of the most popular, creative and vital shows on television.
And the secret to this ridiculous longevity? Sure scripts, actors and production values play a part but the key ingredient, we would argue, is change.
The ability to renew itself, to change almost entirely and yet remain completely recognisable has emerged over the years as the programme’s greatest strength.
Now join the Ood Cast to celebrate the latest in a long glorious line of changes as Jenna-Louise Coleman is announced as the new companion.
Hear their opinions on the future of our beloved programme and then be prepared to be whisked into the recent past as Chris Sigma presents his feedback from the official convention.
Past, present, future – all of time and space is waiting for you.
Plus some people explode.

Interview with writer Gareth Roberts
The Doctor Who PodcastIn this episode of the Doctor Who Podcast Trevor was lucky enough to sit down and have a chat with writer Gareth Roberts.
Now if we had to link in the show notes to all the things Gareth has done in Doctor Who and Doctor Who related media the internet would likely melt down due to overload. Suffice to say Gareth has written for Doctor Who, The Sarah Jane Adventures and Big Finish. He has written short stories and full length novels featuring Doctors new and old.
The latest work from Gareth is a novelisation of the “lost” story of Doctor Who, Shada. This story has never enjoyed an official release in book form until now. Trevor talks to Gareth about the challenges of bringing this story to life in the printed form.
We also announce the winner of the Robert Shearman competition from Episode #130.
