There is no better way to celebrate the Fourth of July than by watching Barack Obama rapping while dressed in a red, white, and blue ringmaster's costume.  And so we present you with "The Greatest Show in the Galaxy," our Seventh Doctor installment in our "Eleven Doctors" series (formerly known as our "Ten Doctors" series because bow ties are cool).

For about as long as I've been podcasting, I've been on the warpath seeking the international release of Doctor Who episodes as close to the BBC One airdate as possible. I'm forced to admit that may not be practical most of the time for smaller networks such as BBC America.

So here's my Modest Proposal for Plan B: more-expensive premium downloads of the episodes as soon as they've aired on BBC One, before they hit the international networks. Give a listen for the details, and let me know what you think.

A Waffle On Special. Simon Interviews Stefan Sawynok.

Hello and welcome to this very special edition of Waffle On. Squeezed in between the normal Waffles is this special, in which Simon interviews Australian author and producer Stefan Sawynok.

Stefan is the main man behind the brilliant science fiction audio drama The Martians Are Here. The story is set in Australia with five very different people who ultimately must work together to figure out what is going on. Not only does Stefan write and produce the main story he also produces the odd specials, one of which is Simon’s story Once a Jolly Swagman, Little Bit of Trouble by Jen Rhodes and Pyramid by Mike Featherstone.

Stefan is accompanied by Rick Moyer who not only writes all the music for The Martians Are Here he also narrates and puts the whole series together.

Eric attempts to expand upon this premise of a 'box set series' that in hindsight appears to be greater than the sum of it's parts. He then continues to reflect upon and contrast the differences in character development under the tutelage of both RTD & Steven Moffat.
