The News
The Fourteenth Doctor's new sonic screwdriver is announced via a very flashy trailer, Season 20 of Doctor Who gets the blu ray collection treatment and the 60th Anniversary Specials are being novelised via the medium of Target Books.
Review - Masters of War
Just for a change Phil and Paul have a listen to Masters of War, part of the Doctor Who Unbound series of audio stories from Big Finish. In this "what if" scenario, The Doctor (played by David Warner) and his travelling companion Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart land the TARDIS on Skaro and find that the Daleks have subjugated the Thals and the Doctor sets out to help them fight back. However not everything on Skaro is as it seems.
How will Phil and Paul react to a story that is not (gasp!) canon? Will David Warner live up to Paul's lofty expectations? And will Phil get his in his impression of a spaced out Mr. Burns? Listen to find out if any of this is true!

Review - Seas of Titan
Paul and Phil listened to Seas of Titan from Big Finish for this episode, starring Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor and this time he's up against the Sea Devils! The lads thought they might be in for treat, but was this a feeling of been there, seen it, done it? A case of deja vu if you will. And this leads them to discuss how easy is it to bring back classic villains in new and interesting ways? But was this a feeling of been there, seen it, done it? A case of deja vu if you will.
And what one hit wonder monster would Paul and Phil bring back if it could be done right? But was this a feeling of been there, seen it, done it? A case of deja vu if you will.

CQ #7 Oppenheimer [ProgNeg Cinema Quickie]
Doctor Who: Prognosis NegativeTIME:
- It's Cinema Quickie Seven (A ProgNeg feature), featuring Eric. Join us as we sit-in LIVE in Eric's Jeep parked outside the cinema to discuss the 2023 film, Oppenheimer. Cinema Quickies are simply that, Eric and friends' hot take having just walked out of the theater. Dive in and discover if he goes type O Neg or Pos!
- This rant was recorded without a script on iPhone Pro 14 July 21st, 2023.
- Once again apologize for sound quality. Air conditioning was actually NOT required on this day as I was in a parking garage for once--which came with its own inherent soundscape.
WARNING:
- This discussion contains miscellaneous SPOILERS pertaining to the film(s) discussed and occasionally Doctor Who! If you are 100% spoilerphobic to films not yet seen, do not complain to us. This episode is mostly negative (though often that is a misnomer) and contains EXPLICIT terms, concepts, and as always expect strokes of innuendo throughout.

Episode 581 – Chronons Work in Mysterious Ways
Traveling the VortexIn this episode, we review the recently released Big Finish story, Doctor Who: Sontarans vs Rutans 1.1: The Battle for Giant’s Causeway. This is the first story in a limited series being released this year. Hear what we thought of the first part.
This is our Companion Archive on C’rizz so we paired this up with two short stories from Big Finish books, Round Trip Part Two: After Midnight and Round Trip Part One: Before Midnight (and yes those are in the correct order). Both can be found in the book ‘Short Trips: A Day in the Life.’
And, we discuss some news that also features Big Finish.
Enjoy!
