TDP 478: Big Finish 4th Doctor Adventures - 4.05. SUBURBAN HELL
Tin Dog Podcast@bigfinish @Lou_Jameson #doctorwho #tindogpodcast Somewhere in a suburb of North London, there's a crisis. More than a crisis, a positive disaster: Belinda and Ralph are expecting four for supper, and there's no Marie Rose sauce for the Prawns Marie Rose. All in all, the evening couldn't possibly get any worse... Until the doorbell rings, bringing the Doctor and Leela to the dinner party. They've got a crisis, too - temporal ruckage has sent the TARDIS to another time zone entirely. Meaning they might have to endure a whole evening in Belinda's company. But the Doctor and Leela aren't the only uninvited guests tonight. There's a strange fog falling, out in the road. And in that fog: savage blue-skinned monsters, with dinner party plans of their own. Because it's not Prawns Marie Rose on their menu - it's people! Written By: Alan BarnesDirected By: Nicholas Briggs Cast Tom Baker (The Doctor), Louise Jameson (Leela), Annette Badland (Thelma),Katy Wix (Belinda), Alix Dunmore (Penny/Acolyte), Raymond Coulthard(Ralph/Second Acolyte), David Ricardo-Pearce (Pete/Priest). Radio Free Skaro #481 - Tin Can Danny
Radio Free SkaroThe news reached dire levels of non-existence this week, but the Three Who Rule soldiered on in exactly the sort of way Twelve would have roundly disapproved of. Despite there being little movement other than comic book rumblings (in the fall, no less!) there was a light at the end of the tunnel in the form of the commentary for "Death In Heaven", with none other than the inestimable J.R. Southall of the Blue Box Podcast and Starburst Magazine lending us his sharp eye, keen brain and devastating wit.

Episode 74: That's Making Life Take the Lemons Back
Trust Your DoctorAnd then it’s making life not exist anymore!
This week Kiyan and Dylan dive into Malcolm Hulke’s final serial, Invasion of the Dinosaurs. To their pleasant surprise, this weeks serial featured quite a fair bit of character development for the UNIT crew, with Benton, Yates, and The Brig all getting some time in the spotlight. Invasion of the Dinosaurs was aired in January and February of 1974.
By the way, the reference no one would get was to Shrek the Musical. You’re welcome.
Here’s a link to the first volume of that ebook by Hugh Pearson: The Lost Lords of Time: Recons Volume One
