With a story that has some very suspect portrayals of women that that basically concludes with 'don't trust a woman', neither Paul nor Phil hold back with their views on this very disappointing story that contains far too many characters and double crosses and annoying cackling witches!

And in the news this week, we say goodbye to Alan Bennion, filming has wrapped on series 11 of Doctor Who, news that a Doctor Who Children in Need special is being filmed, Big Finish are reuniting Tom Baker, Lalla Ward, John Leeson and Matthew Waterhouse in a new series of 4th Doctor adventures and the DWAS are funding a blue heritage plaque for William Hartnell.

MUTTER'S SPIRAL Podcast is back with a new episode, and we've got our favorites, Kim & Sage from HeadOverFeels.com with us! They'll give us the behind-the-scenes scoop of their phenomenal "This or That" panel with Paul McGann from Long Island Who 4, as well as sharing their feelings about the convention as a whole. We always love having them on, and this one is especially great (IMHO). It's delightful!

Before we get to Sage & Kim, though, John and I will discuss "Power of the Daleks" episode 2. We'll discuss our thoughts on the episode itself, while also debating pros and cons of the "old school" one episode a week with cliffhangers, slower pacing, etc format. Plus, how is the story matching up with our expectations so far? We talk about all of that.

A good question because nothing is as it seems in Devesham-on-Oseidon.

The horse-brasses are plastic, the dartboard has a functional bullseye and the ginger beer may not be The Real Thing (but its supply is inexhaustible).

Then there's Guy Crayford, who has a spacesuit of vacuum-resistant denim, incomplete underpants and an eye-patch which is purely cosmetic.

And, behind the scenes, the horny Kraals are eager to spread their infection and have been using fake UNIT personnel for practice.

But did Jim and Martin find The Android Invasion to be the real McCoy or as phoney as a Devesham publican?
