Ep 66 - Companions Who Never Were
Doctor Who: Verity! Our year of companions kicks off in delightful style! Join Deb, Erika, Katrina, and Tansy as we discuss those Doctor Who characters who were almost companions--those who were slated to become TARDIS travelers but never did, as well as those who we wish had stuck around. Deb accidentally invents a new word*. Kat is thoroughly predictable. Erika unabashedly cheats. And Tansy has a list!
Which guest stars do you wish had become full-time companions? Let us know in the comments!
*comfanion, noun; a Doctor Who character not generally considered a companion of the Doctor, but whom a viewer loves so much, they think should have been. The viewer may even argue against popular opinion, claiming their favorite *is* a companion. (Examples: "Bret Vyon is my favorite companion." "He was only in one story! He's a comfanion, at best." -- "Sally Sparrow is my favorite comfanion. I wish the Doctor would've invited her onto the TARDIS.")

ZEUS POD - Fashion Special
Zeus PodIn this special episode of Zeus Pod... FASHION! We wanted to find out how fashion trends were incorporated into Doctor Who throughout the years (if at all!) and which companions & Doctors would by today's standards be the most fashion-forward. To do this, we took acclaimed New Zealand fashion designer Dame Trelise Cooper through 51 years of outfits and got her critical opinion on what works and what doesn't. We created a fashion lookbook for Trelise, featuring all of the Doctors and the majority of companions from throughout the classic and new series, and we highly recommend you view this whilst listening via the photos section of the Zeus Pod Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/zeuspod) So which Doctor and companion are the most fashionable? Who could be straight out of Marc Jacobs' latest collection? Who looks like Peter Pan? And which outfit could work on any red carpet today? You're about to find out... and the answers may surprise you.

But Enough About Us…
Gallifrey Public Radio - A Doctor Who PodcastThere are moments when we like to take pause, and hand the proverbial microphone to our listeners, allowing them to steer the conversation, share their opinions, and tell us all the many, many ways that we are flatly wrong. This time around, we opened Pandora’s Box in the attempt to find what everyone outside the GPR studios thought of Doctor Who Series 8 in our online poll (still open, by the way!), and the response was staggering. In fact, we received so much great feedback […]

Radio Free Skaro #456 - Love And Monsters
Radio Free SkaroTo the excitement of all and sundry, or at least the 3,500 people attending Gallifrey One in under a month’s time, it was recently announced that John Barrowman, Captain Jack Harkness himself, will be gracing the LAX Marriott for his first ever appearance at North America’s leading Doctor Who convention. The news of Barrowman’s visit to the City of Angels churned the Three Who Rule to a totally hetero, manly and strapping lather and only the titanic dullness of of statistics could cool them down. But hark! There was yet more excitement, as Camille Coduri’s interview with Steven onstage at Chicago TARDIS features in this week’s episode! Anecdotes, tales and japery await!
