Our good friend Dennis Black-N-Asian returns to talk about the series 3 episode, Gridlock. the Doctor and his rebound companion, Martha, take a trip to New Earth. As a reflection of his relationship with her as compared to Rose, he ends up going to grim, post-apocalyptic version of NNY’s history instead of the idyllic apple grass scented futuristic paradise. Much like modern day Earth, they get stuck in a traffic jam and that’s where their adventures begin.

In this week’s podcast we take a look at some more of Titan’s Doctor Who comics lines featuring the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors. We start off with Ten’s line from issues number 6 through 10. Then we follow those up with a review of the Eleventh Doctor issues 6 through 11. And finally we wrap things up with Twelve featured in issues 2 through 7. Also, we throw into the mix, the three story, three Doctor issue given out last weekend for this year’s Free Comic Book Day.

My 2005 series rewatch reaches Doctor Who: The Long Game, one of the best episode of Series One with excellent guest appearances by Simon Pegg and a cracking script from Russell T Davies possibly so good due to it’s long gestation(he originally had the idea back in the 1980s)

Recently at (Re)Generation Who we had scheduled to record a podcast during our panel. While setting up for our recording we had the pleasure of meeting Nev Fountain who was finishing his panel and chatting with Proper Ben (Taylor) and FotS Craig Cobalt. We ended up having the opportunity to spend our panel time having a chat with Nev about his work with the Big Finish Audio Dramas, a lifetime of being a Doctor Who fan, and being a writer.

Many of our listeners will recognize Nev as the author of the Mervyn Stone Mysteries, his work on the audio dramas and also as writer for the popular British comedy series Dead Ringers. We were honored to have the chance to speak with Nev and look forward to the release of his upcoming novel "Painkiller" due out in early 2016.

Why would a man-child geek culture hound, who has immersed himself in your Star Treks and Star Wars and Jason of Star Commands as a child, dreaming of being those characters and living in those worlds, become obsessed to the point of podcasting about a character, the Doctor, whom he absolutely cannot imagine being?

In this weeks episode, Phil and Paul take a look at another Target novelisation with Doctor Who And The Dinosaur Invasion by Malcom Hulke. This is a story that both Paul and Phil love with a plot that has more twists and turns than a twisty turny thing and rubbish puppet dinosaurs. So did this book change any of those plots twists and did it go to any lengths to address the dinosaur factor? What did they find in addition were drunken Scotsmen, no cars of vanity and Phil trying to convince Paul of a what he believes to be a major change to one of the characters.

And in this news, more cast names and the episode total for Series 9, Doctor Who wins a BAFTA amd in Omega's Tat Corner it's pricey tat that both Phil and Paul would like to own.
