After eight years of doing a podcast, people email us or come up to us at conventions and ask, "Hey when are you going to do that one episode?" And then we're like, "Which one?" And they're like, "You know, that one!"

E-space kind of sucked tho so I’ll give him a pass for trying to escape.

I looked up how to paint once. But it was really difficult and kind of expensive and so I decided it would be better to look up how to digitally paint since I already had photoshop. But then I found out that it’s easier with one of those art tablets so I gave up on that too and started a podcast. It’s Vincent and the Doctor, written by Richard Curtis and aired on June 5, 2010.

RTD returned to commenting on the lives of gay men in Cucumber (2015) — this time looking at the differences between gay men in their forties and younger queer people in their twenties. It’s brilliant, but utterly harrowing.

Before the Weeping Angels, before the Silence, before the Monks, Steven Moffat brought us the Tersurons, unseen aliens who communicated by “precisely modulated gastric emissions”, and who were the butt of a number of jokes in Moffat’s first ever Doctor Who story, The Curse of Fatal Death.

After the untimely death of Lis Sladen, RTD and Phil Ford created Wizards vs Aliens, to take the place of The Sarah Jane Adventures in the BBC children’s television schedules. Among the cast were Annette Badland, Gwendoline Christie and TV’s Brian Blessed. It’s usually good, and sometimes actually great.

The Blue Box Podcast recently celebrated a milestone in its 250th episode with a four-hour-plus episode, comprising "mini episodes" of many Doctor Who podcasts from around the globe.

As long-time listeners of the podcast we (that is, Rob & Dave), provided such a mini episode for the special, based on our typical Doctor Who Show chats, which is also included for your pleasure here.

So Rob decided he wanted to say congratulations too, but with Dave missing from the other end of the Skype line he struggled a bit... until deciding to call the Blue Box Podcast supremo himself, JR Southall.

The BBC continue their educational focus on coding for kids with a special online lesson – Doctor Who and the micro:bit which you can watch again on the Live Lessons site. Fancy having breakfast with seven, yes SEVEN, Doctors? Enter here and also raise some money for Comic Relief. A new fan show titled Whovians (I know ) is being launched in Australia on ABC2/iview to accompany series 10 and if you remember we mentioned an upcoming book called The Temporal Log Book II which has now got a date for fan story submissions, get your story in on Sat 6th May, good luck!
