GSN PODCAST: Bags of Action Episode 38
Geek SyndicateThis is Bags of Action. The podcast devoted to action movies, both old and new, but all of them are awesome! In this episode part 1 of our trilogy dedicated to Denzel Washington, Pete and Steve discuss Ricochet from 1991, starring among others John Lithgow, Ice T, Kevin Pollak and Lindsay Wagner. This film was an old favourite of Pete's who had watched it many times in the past, but it was brand new to Steve.

Radio Free Skaro #555 - Imurjinsee Egsit
Radio Free SkaroWarren is in Long Island, NY this week, enjoying the fourth iteration of the east coast nerd gathering known as LI Who, and has a report from the trenches for you dear listeners. Thanks to schedules, wifi, and probably rock monsters, Warren couldn't watch Class in time for the show, but Steven and Chris are on the case to give you their take on Episode 5 of the Doctor Who spinoff. However, Warren is present for the commentary for the sentimental favourite (but not altogether good) Season 15 story "The Invisible Enemy", recorded in the blissful, innocent time of October 2016. Remember that time? Remember...?

Episode 143: Pretty Badly Choreographed
Trust Your DoctorI question whether the choreographers even knew how to read a choreograph.
So, the universe is populated by more rogue time lords than we thought. Seriously, every week it feels like they add another one. This time it’s The Mark of the Rani, written by Pip and Jane Baker and aired in February of 1985.
Show-notes:
5:33 Yup.
5:49 Another 30 seconds on google only brought up Doctor Who stuff, so I guess it’s a totally original name. This blog gives an explanation of the name (using this as a source) but who knows how true it is? Either way, I really like “Parabola Rainbow Moondancer Galadriel.” That should have been her name.
12:54 The wiki lists a lot more, including Susan and Drax. How could we have forgotten Drax?
16:16 This one. I almost forgot how not good at all Family Guy is.
22:33 No!! NOOO!!!!
32:53 Yeah, it’s a gyroscope.

087: The Crusade
The Krynoid Podcast"I'll turn the world we know into your enemy!"
Confusingly, this isn't The Enemy of the World but in fact The Crusade - a swords and Saracens saga of identity theft, cross-dressing and honey traps.
The Doctor is courting intrigue, Ian is caught in a sticky situation and Vicki is caught out cosplaying. Meanwhile Barbara and Princess Joanna are treated like sacks of flour and El Akir should surely be sacked for abusing his Emir's position - not to mention his long-suffering staff.
There's also room for the sage Saladin, the smitten Saphadin and the Unscrupulous Hulk, not to mention some stereotyped light-fingered locals.
So do Jim and Martin see The Crusade as a glorious victory or as successful as one of King Richard's hunting trips?
Find out here.

Doctor Whooch // Episode 103 // Trans-Dimensional Heart Sexting
Doctor WhoochIn which Class goes sideways in a really weird way, but hey, we're drunk, so whatever.
On this week's show, we reach the midpoint of CLASS with episode four, "Co-Owner of a Lonely Heart" and things get really weird. Are you ready for crazy teen/shadow monster sex scene parallels? What about bouts of murder rage and existential crisis about a weapon filled with souls? If only our biggest problems were "my heart is connected to a shadow monster" and not "the real world is filled with garbage". Is that where we're at? WHO KNOWS!
Outro music is "Owner of a Lonely Heart" by Grizzly Bear.

Episode 22 - "World's End" and "The Daleks"
The Doctor Who HourEveryone's favorite program-saving robot-wearing alians are finally returning to Doctor Who this week as Mike and Justin begin their look at 'The Dalek Invasion of Earth' with "World's End" and "The Daleks". We manage to goof up opening our own show, have some confusion about the use of and oddness of finding whips, and begin to have a very necessary discussion about how much Daleks is too much Daleks. It may be the post-apocalypse, but if you do as you're told you will be fed and watered. Join us, won't you?
The Doctor Who Hour is a weekly show in which two friends, veteran Who-watcher Justin and first-time Who-watcher Mike, sit down to watch and discuss every episode of Doctor Who, starting from the very beginning. Follow us on Twitter @DoctorWhoHour or email us at TheDoctorWhoHour@gmail.com with questions, concerns, or just general nonsense.

Big Blue Box Podcast - Episode 116
The Doctor Who Big Blue Box PodcastHey listeners. Welcome aboard new and old listeners alike. This week it’s sad news, a few good merch items, our review of Class episode 4 and our regular review which this week is the classic story Attack of the Cybermen.
The News
Bad times. The Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff is to close its doors next summer. Unfortunately the council funded lease on the purpose built building is up and there’s no plans to renew that lease or relocate. There is an online petition which if you have yet signed please jump on and show your support.
Merch
After little info on the blu ray version for the upcoming release of The Power of the Daleks, two come along at once. The standard blue ray (containing both black and white and colour versions) is out in Feburary 2017 and also… a special edition steelbook is coming out at the same time, exclusive to Amazon.
Fans of the Target book covers will be pleased to know there’s a 2017 calendar featuring a bunch of covers from artist Andrew Skileter.
“Class: Episode 4 – Co-Owner of a Lonely Heart” Review
Oh Class, will you start giving us some decent stories? So far it’s been a bumpy road for us but does this one step it up a gear?
“Attack of the Cybermen” Review
It’s been a while since we spent some time with the 6th Doctor so it’s good to be back in the presence of old Sixie. Garry spoke about this story way back in Episode 4 in 2014 but has his opinion changed? Both Garry and Adam have some interesting thoughts.
Thanks Who fans for listening and your thoughts. Next week we visit the 11th Doctor and the, again, divided story Dinosaurs on a Spaceship. Until than have a great week and remember – Allons-y!!

Between these stories, we’ve developed quite the headcanon revolving around Steven and Dodo. Is Steven Dodo’s great-grandfather? Is Dodo high as a kite on LSD? Listen and see if we can convince you!
