Mr Smith’s Fanfare Is Diegetic
Flight Through Entirety: A Doctor Who PodcastThis week, Nathan, James, Todd and Peter sit in our separate homes, longing for an invasion where the aliens order us all to congregate in the street together. Which is what happens, of course, in The Stolen Earth.
Notes and links
We’ve mentioned this over and over again, but for an account of how this season and its finale came to be, there’s no better place to go than Russell T Davies and Ben Cook’s The Writer’s Tale: The Final Chapter. It’s illustrated with cartoons by RTD himself, including his original conception of the Shadow Proclamation, and his headcanon explanation of Harriet Jones’s daring escape from the Daleks. An absolute must-read.

Nathan is on Twitter as @nathanbottomley, James is @ohjamessellwood, Todd is @toddbeilby, and Peter is nowhere at all. The Flight Through Entirety theme was arranged by Cameron Lam, and the strings performance was by Jane Aubourg. You can follow the podcast on Twitter at @FTEpodcast.
We’re also on Facebook, and you can check out our website at flightthroughentirety.com. Please consider rating or reviewing us on iTunes, or we’ll Zoombomb your next departmental meeting and flirt outrageously with your boss.

You can find Jodie into Terror, our flashcast on the Whittaker Era of Doctor Who, at jodieintoterror.com, at @JodieIntoTerror on Twitter, on Apple Podcasts, and wherever podcasts can be found.
Our James Bond commentary podcast is called Bondfinger, and you can find that at bondfinger.com, at @bondfingercast on Twitter, on Apple Podcasts, and everywhere else as well. In our most recent episode, we again commemorate Honor Blackman by watching her appearance as Ronald Allen’s wife in an episode of Patrick McGoohan’s Danger Man called Colonel Rodriguez.

And more
You can find Jodie into Terror, our flashcast on the Whittaker Era of Doctor Who, at jodieintoterror.com, at @JodieIntoTerror on Twitter, on Apple Podcasts, and wherever podcasts can be found.

Episode 22: Inferno Episode 4: Violence and Interrogation
Doctor Who: Fifty Years AgoWe interrogate an episode in which the Doctor is interrogated to tell anything except the truth and the concept of the parallel universe gets another turn. There's also deep discussion about how violent acts and regimes are portrayed, and a subverted view of bureaucracy.

Episode 25: Long in the Tooth
Something WhoRichard, Paul and Giles are back with our Not Vampire Special, with two stories that threaten to feature vampires, but ultimately don't. First we look at Seventh Doctor story Curse of Fenric and then we examine Eleventh Doctor story Vampires of Venice. Along the way we analyse the different versions of Curse of Fenric, Giles discusses codebreaking in WW2 and Paul plugs a Big Finish story that does indeed feature vampires.
Please like or share our podcast with people who will enjoy it. You can rate us directly on Apple Podcasts or Podchaser.com
The opening music is Three Guitars Mood 2 and, yes, that is Richard playing the ukulele and kazoo on possibly the worst ever version of the Doctor Who theme tune at the end.

Quarantine Productions
Gallifrey Public Radio - A Doctor Who PodcastWe take a couple of turns around the studio table wondering what a complete Doctor Who story production would turn out like if the limitations and complications of stay-at-home did their worst. From DIY sets and sound effects, to last-minute recasting and other mishaps, it's just the level of wonkiness that gets the 'GPR slightly distorted stamp of approval'.

085: Reptiles & Robots
Neither The Time Nor The SpaceSeries 7 continues with episode 2, "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship". This week's digressions include plenty of 90's/00's sketch comedy chat and the matter of just how handsome Rory is these days.
Doctor Who theme by Ron Grainer, arranged by Alexander Erben.
