And it’s our first episode of several this week as our Gallifrey One Preview Episode follows on Tuesday! It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

288: 6 Years Later and Still Nobody Cares (It Takes You Away)
Trust Your DoctorThis is the most depressing thing I’ve ever heard.
I’ve always wanted to go to Norway. Never really had the opportunity to do so though. Which is a bummer because it always looked nice. I wonder why this episode is set in Norway and not Sweden. A good question for another time. It’s It Takes You Away, written by Ed Hime and aired on December 1, 2018.
Show-notes:
2:12: This is the first time we’ve seen Norway on the tv show, but it’s been in comics and audios before. Bad Wolf Bay was in Norway, but it was in the alternate world.
9:35: Here’s the trailer for The Silence. Cash-in on “A Quiet Place” or not, this was actually based on a book that came out in 2015.
21:43: Video of Gordon Ramsay and James May eating fermented shark
24:47: Unfortunately I couldn’t find any behind-the-scenes info on the antizone. I did find this somewhat-interesting video that kind of goes behind the scenes on this episode. It’s not too great, but yeah.

The Restored Captain John is in Restoration England looking for some gauntlets. There's intrigue in the Tower of London, the dead are walking the streets, and the severed head of Oliver Cromwell has a terrible warning. 2. Escape from Nebazz Captain John is in a wooden space prison that's under attack by a strange and terrible life form. Also the catering is truly dreadful and Dr Magpie's latest discovery may have got a little out of hand. 3. Peach Blossom Heights Captains John and Jack find themselves stranded on a world that may be actual paradise - the weather is pleasant, the people are friendly, and the giant stuffed animals only come out at night. There's only one thing the world is missing. No-one has ever explained to any of the population about the birds and the bees. Which is unfortunate. 4. Darker Purposes Captain John arrives at the funeral of one of the galaxy's richest men. He died without making a will, and his heirs have some very creative ideas about how this can be put to rights involving murder, necromancy and seduction. Sadly, Captain John is only too happy to oblige.

Staffel Doctor Who mit dem Titel “Fugitive of the Judoon” zu Freudentänzen anspornt, müssen wir leider feststellen: “We can’t Dance“, denn es reicht nicht einmal zu einem öden Foxtrot. So bleibt am Ende des Tages, an dem England aus der EU ausgetreten ist, nicht nur ein “Selling England by the pound” festzuhalten, sondern auch ein sehr trauriges “Selling Doctor Who by the Pound”. In diesem Sinne ...calling all stations…
