Yes, friends, we have been talking about reviewing The Web of Fear since before Gallifrey One this year, we were going to talk about it during our Gally coverage, but stars aligned such that we're finally now getting to it. The story follows a mysterious stranger, who arrives in the small town of Lago, situated in the high plains of the American west. The townspeople are terrorised by a gang of outlaws who are due to be released from prison soon, and they hire the Stranger to protect them.

But this movie is western with a supernatural twist and turns the pioneering west on its head.

The story follows a mysterious stranger, who arrives in the small town of Lago, situated in the high plains of the American west. The townspeople are terrorised by a gang of outlaws who are due to be released from prison soon, and they hire the Stranger to protect them.

But this movie is western with a supernatural twist and turns the pioneering west on its head.

Hello and welcome to this months edition of Waffle On in which Meds and Kell talk about this 1999 David Fincher movie, Fight Club. It stars Brad Pitt and Edward Norton and has gained a cult following since its release on home media. It didnt do too well when released on the big screen (we have no idea why that was the case) but, as mentioned, has gained huge popularity. The lads chat a little about the re-release The Godfather (celebrating its 50th anniversary) and a little about the upcoming dramatisation of The Ipcress File.
