Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace
The Doctor Who ShowStar Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace is 25 years old later this year and tonight, The Doctor Who Show team examines it in what must rate as one of the coldest of cold takes ever committed to a digital recording.
What are our memories of the movie on release? What are our thoughts on it now, after a 2024 re-watch?
If you've got an hour to spare, sit back, relax and join us in an ALTERNATE GALAXIES episode that travels to a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away to try and review the film, once and for all, with no contemporary distractions.
We will also be reviewing Star Wars Episode II - Attack of the Clones in March and Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith in April.

3.18 Eclipse

Who's He? at The Movies | The Man Who Haunted Himself
This time Phil looks at The Man Who Haunted Himself starring Roger Moore. Could this be Roger Moores best film and his best performance? In this psychological thriller, Moore plays against type as a man whose life is turned upside down by what he thinks is someone impersonating him, causing him and his friends and family to question his sanity. But the truth is much more terrifying.

113. CHRISTOPHER NAYLOR - Regarding Harry
Doctor Who : The Sirens of AudioRe-casting beloved Doctor Who characters for audio stories is a contentious issue for some fans. Our aim for this episode is to invite the doubters to at the very least, give them a try.

We discuss his career, his other creative outlets such as art, and how he approaches the iconic role for audio.

Podcastica Episode 248: The Web of Fear OR Big Hulking Fluffy Monsters with Guns
PodcasticaYes, friends, we have been talking about reviewing The Web of Fear since before Gallifrey One this year, we were going to talk about it during our Gally coverage, but stars aligned such that we're finally now getting to it. And that's for the best because it's a story that deserves our full attention. We have the return of Professor Travers and the Yeti, we have the introduction of Col. Lethbridge-Stewart (who was almost played by someone else!), and we have our marvelous TARDIS team. What more could we ask for? Well, to have episode three returned from private hands, that's for sure!

Who's He? At The Movies | High Plains Drifter
In Phil's first look at a movie for a very long time, he picked 1973's High Plains Drifter starring Clint Eastwood.
The story follows a mysterious stranger, who arrives in the small town of Lago, situated in the high plains of the American west. The townspeople are terrorised by a gang of outlaws who are due to be released from prison soon, and they hire the Stranger to protect them.
But this movie is western with a supernatural twist and turns the pioneering west on its head.
