We look at Patrick Troughton’s swan song in less than a fifth of the length of The War Games itself. Andi squeals with delight at the cuteness of some of the Second Doctor’s deadliest enemies, Adam does some appalling accents and we both reference bad RTD episodes far more than we meant to. Also features a cameo by our favourite New Zelander.

Not as long winded this week, another episode is in the can and posted to the feed.

In this one, we head back to the Tenth Doctor’s era and review The Idiot’s Lantern, The Impossible Planet, The Satan Pit, and everyone’s favorite – Love and Monsters.

A long bit of insightful feedback, and Keith tells us about his trip to Contagion: Outbreak – Omaha’s Premiere Pop-Culture Expo and Convention.

A small note; the Tachyon TV segment was recorded before fan controversy erupted for the umpteenth time over next year's schedule of shows, so that issue was (thankfully) never raised amongst the good feelings and bonhomie.

It may go without saying that we at The TARDIS Tavern are relatively fond of the Seventh Doctor's era.  You may remember our stellar review of "The Greatest Show in the Galaxy" and the fact that one of us has a soft spot for "Paradise Towers."  It was only a matter of time before we discussed "Ghost Light," one of the most controversial and mind-bending stories of the era.  We are joined by scholar Erik of The Doctor Who Book Club Podcast to discuss the merits of the story, and he will join Steve in convincing Sean that this is the epitome of a great Doctor Who story.
